27/11/2020 07:52 | Belfry17: Yes, it reads to me, that old model TRIAD used to make £1m when times were good, but with the new model of permanent employees they might be expecting to make between £1.5m and £2m going forward. Due to lower costs but also they appear to be winning more contracts due to having a bigger head count. | netcurtains
27/11/2020 07:49 | Words not works | belfry17
27/11/2020 07:49 | Yes, the usage of staff and the works used in the outlook is excellent. Good call here, I think. I think we can hope (expect) a bigger profit in half two and a return to dividends with that cash? | belfry17
27/11/2020 07:48 | It is better than expected: a) No longer making loses - broken even or small profit. b) Increased head count by about 30% - BLIMY!!!!!! c) Forward business statement looks really good (together with head count increase) d) Cash mountain now £4m - market cap just £5m. e) NAV is about £7m now due to extra cash but market cap just £5m This is a stonking buy mainly due to: forward statement, cash mountain, NAV and once back to £1m profits a good dividend. | netcurtains
27/11/2020 07:25 | I haven't had a full look yet, but I am pleased with profit and increase to the level of cash they have. This is good. The business is doing very well. | belfry17
26/11/2020 14:19 | small buy slipping under the radar. I guess they are guessing last chance to buy. However I just cant see results on a Friday. Monday yes, Friday - who ever does it then? Still....... | netcurtains
26/11/2020 07:36 | netcurtains wrong, Belfry17 wrong, Brendainvesta now 1/2 wrong (he said thursday or next week). If its tomorrow no one is right. Reasons for "late" a) Waiting to sign off a good contract. b) waiting to be paid a big sum. c) New finance director taking his time Being late is not normally good news but I guess its not late until its december. Which still gives them tomorrow and monday. I guess next tuesday and wednesday too is ok.. If only they publish their reporting calendar like other companies. This guessing game is too old fashioned | netcurtains
26/11/2020 07:22 | I suppose it is any day from tomorrow if they always release them at 7am. A steady rise from here would be nice. | belfry17
25/11/2020 16:18 | No ones bunging in a crafty buy or sell before the the bell? Its beginning to look like another December results like last year. I hope they dont keep us waiting until nearly the end of December. They should really let us know like other companies. | netcurtains
25/11/2020 12:50 | No idea if relevant but sector "software" in FTSE 100, 250 etc is about the only sector that is up today (a lot of these companies are very different to Triad so I dont think it is particularly relevant but you never know) | netcurtains
25/11/2020 09:30 | Encarter: I have been wondering that too. If they are looking to improve revenue and are fairly confident then that would be a good idea. | belfry17
25/11/2020 09:26 | I think they will increase dividend to make up for not paying the last one. | encarter
25/11/2020 09:15 | broken 30p. | netcurtains
25/11/2020 07:48 | Well netcurtains and Belfry17 both wrong so only Brendainvesta can be right now. It was tuesday in 2018, and wednesday in 2017... Looks 50:50 it will be December now. Although monday 30th might also be a reasonble guess. Here is an idea! Why dont they simply tell the market the results day in advance like every other company? Why do they have to play this silly guessing game? | netcurtains
24/11/2020 13:12 | I guess the short term target on vaccine news is to match the price Triad was in May - about 32-35p.. Anything higher than 32-35p would either need reasonable results or a good forward statement concerning 2021. | netcurtains
24/11/2020 13:11 | One of the benefits of being illiquid is that it moves quickly when it starts to move! | dangersimpson2
24/11/2020 12:54 | Here we go - this is more like it with a jump in the bid and ask. | belfry17
24/11/2020 09:32 | Changed now so maybe they were just messing around a bit or there is a sell coming through. I am looking forward to the results. | belfry17
24/11/2020 09:29 | The price is nearly over 28p to buy with quotes only going up to £800 odd until no quote. I only checked as there seem to be a larger than expected amount available at 28p prior to today. | belfry17
24/11/2020 07:46 | Well netcurtains is wrong, not today, so its down to Belfry17 or Brendainvesta. It was tuesday in 2018, and wednesday in 2017... | netcurtains
21/11/2020 09:51 | I've added the big clickable 2 year view to the header. You will note back in FEB 2019 this was trading in the 60s. It was high 70s back in 2018. Kainos does roughly the same sort of contracts as Triad but it has a PE ratio of 82. That means if Triad started to do consistently well it should have a PE ratio in the same sort of ball park area and a share price (down the road some way) of about £4. Obviously I'm talking YEARS AWAY and only if Triad CONSISTENTLY improves each year. | netcurtains
21/11/2020 09:13 | Most recent director buys (such as they are): 20-Feb-20 Buy John C Rigg 38.50p GBX 75,000 4,609,40003-Feb-20 Buy John C Rigg 36.00p GBX 25,000 4,534,40003-Feb-20 Buy Charlotte Rigg 35.00p GBX 100,000 100,000 | netcurtains
21/11/2020 09:12 | Thursday 26th is my guess, or the week after just to wind us up. | brendainvesta
20/11/2020 09:57 | Wednesday 25th is my guess. My other guess is that they have a large demand for their services, are hoping to get another big contract or two from the public sector and are either on track to return to profit or hope to by the full year. Could be completely wrong but I invested because of that and the price being so low with so much cash and no debt. | belfry17
20/11/2020 09:27 | Anyone want to guess most likely day for results? I'm going for Tuesday next week. | netcurtains |
