That is right, we're here to make money not to be legal/social advisers.
Its time this share got a grip with reality that is TRIAD PLC:

a) loads of money in bank
b) pays a dividend
c) makes money
d) doing OK

This should be trading (fair value) at about £1.50 (compare to other similar IT companies)

Its being held back, as far as I can see, by long rambling mails.

Indeed, this is a 'BB' for people who for the most part are clueless and are not trained solicitors in a court of law.

Would be helpful to just say what happened in a paragraph or two without it turning into an epic of Gilgamesh type read.

Cheers ;-)

I'm interested in what you have to say, but do you think you could try to be a bit more concise? Your posts are not the easiest to read or comprehend but as a shareholder I would like to know what you're getting at so that I can try to understand a bit better what it is you allege has been going on.

Good spot - Fraser's comment from a few weeks ago.

We need prompt action by the board to sort this mess out rather than thinking that by issuing the shameful RNS of 3.1.19 it solves anything. Then we can all move on.

Perhaps ask Ian Fraser about them.

(on his twitter feed he did comment once about the case)

Mira Maker

Many thanks for the explanation in your last post 1138 (and for all the previous ones).

I found the RNS of 3.1.19 very disturbing. Its avowed intention to "assist in clarifying the situation" was evidently false (perhaps deliberately so?).

It would appear that various RNS and statements about major shareholdings in the annual accounts for the last 2 years are inaccurate.

It would also appear that there are serious issues of corporate governance.

It is quite alarming that you suggest that there appears to be "a numeracy problem on the Board". But in some ways it is not surprising. In my experience those companies whose directors struggle to communicate when they should do in an open and honest way or engage in sharp practice are often the same ones where financial statements are not credible or turn out subsequently to have been materially incorrect.

Of course there will always be who will think TRD an exceptional investment at these prices but it is above all a matter of trust - and that is in short supply at the moment.

owenski: because its old office tittle tattle and it adds nothing to whether she thinks Triad are doing well or bad at finding jobs for consultants - its all historical stuff and probably related to personal breakdowns of relationships with various ex coworkers. I dont think any of it helps us as investors to see the wood from the trees as to whether triad is a brilliant investment or just very very good. Its extremely important to her - agreed - but its not important to us to know all her personal grievances related to breakdown of relationships - especially post after post after post. It should be personal.

this is what we should be interested in:

Why is MM's post waffle?

Is it because it highlights potential dishonesty issues from board level at TRD and is an uncomfortable fact that goes against your hopeful punt?

I'd have to agree with you Valhamos. I haven't sold my shares yet, but I couldn't ever bring myself to buy more with this uncertainty hanging over the company.

The lack of communication from the board is very worrying.

I tried to phone Nick Burrows today, but i'm not expecting him to return my call.

"You clearly haven't a clue"

Agreed. But I don't think I am alone here. I was expecting Triad's RNS of 3.1.19 to shed some light on the matter of substantial shareholdings. After all it was entitled "Statement re substantial shareholdings" But it doesn't do that which is very concerning.

"X has the shares back again minus some to pay off some debt."

What's with the "X"? Do you mean Mira Maker - if so why not say so? But is what you say true? If Mira Maker has a disclosable interest (or her holding restored on the company's shareholder list) why hasn't it been disclosed - the last accounts do not disclose any substantial holdings and there hasn't been an RNS about it since.

"so 100% forget the court case."

But it wasn't me that brought it up it was Triad in their 3.1.19 RNS. As I have said their statement is misleading and I want answers.

It all very well thinking there is tremendous value here but the words from the company tell a different story. Something does not add up.

"With the court case as I understand it"

Which court case would that be? Are you referring to the RNS of 3.1.19? The one that says

"It has come to my attention that there are various degrees of confusion and uncertainty in public surrounding substantial shareholdings in Triad. I refer shareholders and any other interested parties to a recent claim lodged in the High Court (High Court of Justice, Queen's Bench Division, Media and Communications List, Claim Number QB-2018-000581"

If so have you managed to find out anything about this alledged court case? I ask as you suggest you have come to some understanding about it.

The RNS acknowledges the existence of confusion and uncertainty but it has done nothing to enlighten us. If fact it has made matters worse. We are left with the impression of the directors being deliberately secretive. There is also an allegation that the RNS is inaccurate and misleading.

I think we need the directors to be replaced. Until such time as we have a board that is competent to communicate with shareholders the company is uninvestable.

At this price I almost feel like selling the house and bunging the entire lot into the company.

netcurtains- What's the point of your posts? You would be far better served by agreeing that TRD directors need to start communicating with shareholders. Until such time as they do this company remains uninvestable to many because as your thread header says the company is unbelievable.
