31/5/2014 22:22 | also gets a mention in the MoS today | mw8156
31/5/2014 21:38 | read this is Lord Lee of Trafford's largest investment somewhere today. | mw8156
27/5/2014 14:20 | Some data providers have not adjusted for the recent subdivision of shares - I imagine that might be the case here too. Hope that helps. | dab26
27/5/2014 13:03 | Is the share price being quoted properly? Financial above show a yield of 11%. What is going on? z | zeppo
21/5/2014 16:19 | Very good results, but below most radar screens. Gets a small mention in the DM to-day. Expecting it to continue making steady progress. | truffle
21/5/2014 11:27 | Good results! | beaufort1
11/2/2014 12:52 | quiet here? | cottlet
22/12/2013 13:55 | Wish John Lee still did a column. The My Portfolio feature in the w/e FT was always a good read. He had the occasional bummer, London Scottish Bank and Dawsons, but I still hold Daejan, steady stock. | llwyd
22/12/2013 12:43 | Just reading John Lee's latest book which is a gentle and interesting read. Treatt is a very good company with a niche position. A hold forever stock, if there ever was one! | topvest
13/12/2013 15:07 | Well it is therefore also the same John Lee who wrote in the FT about a company called Anpario about 18/20 months ago and which has since gone up very steadily rather like Treatt has. Did he mention any other shares at the Mello dinner? | truffle
13/12/2013 14:49 | I think TET is his largest holding. I got in after reading his column in the FT many years ago. He first bought in 1999 I believe. | ottrott
13/12/2013 12:19 | That is a very good show of confidence. John Lee specifically mentioned Treatt at our Mello dinner on Monday evening when he did a talk and launch of his new book. That will have helped too. | davidosh
13/12/2013 09:55 | A buy by a director at 720p is interesting especially as he is one of the driving forces. | anley
12/12/2013 14:03 | The company should consider a stock split to make a more liquid market...... | anley
09/12/2013 09:53 | Yes, all pretty good. The Earthoil claim is quite expensive and looks like they would have been better settling amicably. Otherwise, looks really good for the future. | topvest
09/12/2013 09:42 | Well the results are out and in line with the markets expectations. The Exceptional Costs of £1m should fall away and if sales were to increase by a reasonable rate and costs held down then the shares will respond. Perhaps the management may like to consider splitting the shares. A more liquid market is sometimes a good way to drive the price of a share. More to come now the new management team has its feet under the table. | anley
06/12/2013 18:08 | I have no idea that you have a 1 bed studio flat V my house up the road. All I am doing is to point out that I suspect there is long term growth hidden inside TET. In the case of GIVN that is just an example of what happened over the past few years. Look back at one of my original posts and you will see why I became a shareholder. | anley
06/12/2013 13:25 | well for starters tell us what GIVN turnover and net profit is and then compare it to what TET makes and you will have your answer. You appear to be implying that I have a 1 bed studio flat and the mansion up the road has just sold for £5m so whats my flat worth - must be a fortune ? Also I suspect TET extracts oil from natural substances in the main thats all - whereas I suspect the GIVN business is creating flavors and tastes for FMCG food / perfume products from all sorts of substances and preservatives which is a whole different ball game with a lot of added value. | felix99
06/12/2013 11:53 | Nestle S.A. is selling its entire 10% stake in flavors and fragrances maker Givaudan S.A. (GIVN.VX) valued at nearly 1.2 billion Swiss francs ($1.3 billion) as the Swiss food giant pushes ahead with a streamlining effort. So what is TET worth? | anley

29/11/2013 15:01 | No more cheap stock........ | anley
08/11/2013 18:45 | I have bought in to this story on the basis that I once worked with the Knotts who run the Rights and Issues Investment Trust and own 11% of TET having bought in at 530p along with a few more City boys. These guys are here for the long haul but I have a feeling that once the USA business gets going and the market over their is huge that they will be taken out. The sums will have been done and underpinning the price is a decent dividend which has been increased every year for yonks. | anley
27/10/2013 14:39 | Hi, Are there any main competitors in this market ? TIA.... | unionhall |
