15/8/2013 11:02 | I agree - it could be quite an exciting time for Treatt. Sometimes it takes new management to unlock benefits and take a company forward. Provided the upgraded facilities are properly costed and controlled it could be really beneficial. | truffle
15/8/2013 09:59 | Um, why doesn't it look good? Confident of profits rising to 6.75mm next year and clearly the new CEO can do a lot to improve the UK side as he did on the US side. You can't knock them for investing to update 1970s equipment. While it will increase the debt, it's likely to significantly improve margins, PBT and increase capacity. Devro are just coming to the end of significant capex plant upgrades and their share price has done very well in the interim. | wjccghcc
15/8/2013 09:34 | I have taken profits - this article does not look good.... | loofyloofy

28/5/2013 21:08 | Excellent news. The Rights and Issues / Discretionary Unit Trust buy a while back looks very well timed. This is a fantastic little company, which under a more dynamic management team could well take-off! | topvest

13/5/2013 14:14 | Just tipped on the famous portfolio of Simon Thompson! Small passage: I am always on the lookout for lowly rated companies with the potential to produce earnings surprises to the upside as the tailwind of earnings momentum and scope to beat conservative analyst estimates creates a very benign and favourable share price environment. I believe I have found another company displaying such positive characteristics, Treatt (TET: 440p), a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of flavour, fragrance and cosmetic ingredients. It is also a business that has been around for over 125 years. Treat is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, but its diverse product portfolio is manufactured not just in the UK, but also in the US and Kenya. The company generates sales of around £74m a year selling products to corporations in no fewer than 90 countries and has main sales offices in North America, Asia and Europe. | blondeamon
13/5/2013 07:46 | sweet interims today - full year will see nice increases in EPS, given the buoyant orange oil prices. Definitely a buy. | loofyloofy

03/4/2013 11:14 | At the EGM on the 28th. Mr. Jones was elected with 99.1% no surprise there then ;-) | losos
21/3/2013 15:43 | call-logger - There's another GM scheduled for the 28th. at which the Bovill family will abstain and it is therefore assumed that Mr. Jones will be re-elected. Hmmm don't know what more to say lol. | losos
20/3/2013 09:18 | According to yesterday's release, they voted against because he wouldn't arrange a meeting with them. They didn't realise that they would cause his non-appointment | call-logger
20/3/2013 09:14 | Is the recent failure to reappoint Tim Jones as a Director at the AGM completely unrelated? Or did the Bovill family vote against? | mctmct
19/3/2013 22:14 | Obviously seen as very positive, given the share price reaction. There will be institutions lining-up to get a slug of this great company. | topvest
19/3/2013 17:15 | yep - not so much a feud as they just want to sell I expect . Perhaps they want to sell and mgt dont and they have effectively hoisted the for sale sign over them | felix99
19/3/2013 16:35 | Interesting RNS today, seems like a bit of a family feud brewing, with the possibility of a takeover bid - that should give the share price a nice boost :-) | losos |
