good article that (157)

Trans-Siberian Gold has focused on employing Russian management and staff on its projects based on the Kamchatka peninsula in eastern Russia where its Asacha and Rodnikova properties contain approximately 900,000 ounces of gold and about 4 million ounces of silver in total mineral resources calculated to JORC standards. Production guidance of 50,000 ounces is expected in 2011, increasing to 100,000 ounces by 2014

There's an informative write up on Russian Mining which positively mentions TSG at

Fortunately, the trades exceed the number of posts. Very few trades over the last month, but they have mostly been buys, and the share price just keeps ticking up slowly.
I thought the 1/11 rns was excellent, loans sorted and a thorough update with everything going to plan. Appears to be a very well run company.

There are only c. 10% shares outside of the main holders so there sure is very little liquidity.

It is going well though on very little volume.

At 39p this morning for a purchase of 2000. This is up from 35p yesterday. Doesen't say much for liquidity.

According to last report - asacha production first quarter 2011 - this is looming rapidly - hopefully some news to confirm this.

Good rise, if positive news is imminent, which seems to be the case, this could climb fast with so few shares available. It has been slowly drifting down on no news for so long, nice to see some positive action now as, hopefully, as we approach production !

Agreed it would be good to hear views from any longtermers here. It does seem theres some potential with funding arranged and such a high price of gold to work with.
Quiet board too so perhaps this is still under the markets radar?

edited to add if this is correct from natwest then theres not many shares available?

Looks like huge potential here with excellent grades from Asacha and a PFS on the way from Rodnikova, but they seem to be taking their sweet time getting Asacha mine up and running. With money in the bank now enough to take it to production, lets hope they fulfill their side of the bargain. If TSG get the required permission to make Asacha an open pit mine (Currently seeking permitting and approval for this) it should make a significant difference in term of cost per oz (total cash costs for UG mining at $273/oz on equity basis and $471 with capex included) and shorten the time taken to get to production (I believe currently scheduled for Sept/Oct 2010).

Anyone any thoughts on this company? Appreciate any long term holders views on this company good and bad.

Thanks,
dc

Very good comments on "another forum":-

Based on earnings, the market cap towards the end of next year becomes a very healthy $312m and a share price of 170p !!!!

With the gold price speculated to be heading some say towards $2000 and beyond, TSG becomes an excellent buy ay today's price.

but nobody seems to be looking at this on here

Must be announcement shortly after recent moves - possible reasons - take over, financing in place and or better than stated gold reserves. Enjoying the ride at long last!
