It just looks like the broker has done a pretty poor job of forecasting and so now it looks like results have not met expectations. I'm surprised the directors allowed this, after all they have a fair alignment with shareholders interests given their stakes.

Got to sit down and study these results and figure out why eps is just 1p below forecast 1.4p and down from 3p last year despite increased turnover. any comments ?

Manufacturing Agreement Share this article TIDMTRAK RNS Number : 8854B Trakm8 Holdings PLC 25 February 2011 25 February 2011 TRAKM8 HOLDINGS PLC ("Trakm8" or "the Company") Manufacturing Agreement Trakm8 (AIM: TRAK), the designer and developer of GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Trakm8 Limited, has entered into a further framework manufacturing agreement (the "Agreement") with Omitec Limited ("Omitec") for the production of new telematics hardware, the T8 Mini, which is complementary to and will be marketed alongside Trakm8's existing T8 vehicle telematics hardware platform. This Agreement, as for the manufacturing agreement with Omitec that was announced on 21 June 2010 in relation to the T8 hardware platform, is a framework agreement for manufacture of hardware products for Trakm8 Limited. Trakm8 has placed an initial order under the Agreement with a value of GBP447,000. Omitec, based in Devizes, Wiltshire, is a leading UK provider of automotive diagnostic products and services. Omitec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Omitec Group Ltd. John Watkins, Chief Executive Officer of Trakm8, is also a director and shareholder of Omitec Group Ltd, and therefore the entering into the Agreement is deemed to be a related party transaction under the AIM Rules for Companies. Accordingly, the independent directors of the Company, being all of the Company's directors save for John Watkins, consider, having consulted with Arbuthnot Securities Limited, the Company's Nominated Adviser, that the terms of the Agreement are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned. Security aspects too.Nice company this. http://www.hgvuk.com/01/18/trakm8-meets-the-plant-hire-problem/ Lee said: 'One of the most important features for us and our hire customers was that we could immobilise a vehicle immediately, when notified of a machine theft or unauthorised use. This is done online through the online SWIFT system and is one of the biggest theft deterrents on site. It was the biggest factor for us in selecting the Trakm8 system. 'It was important to Buckhurst that the software could be shared and customers could see the data coming from the machines they hired. This system allows us both to see where the vehicle is, and provides alerts straight to email if machines move out of designated construction sites.' Many stolen machines are loaded onto trucks for a quick getaway, email alerts highlight any unauthorised machine movements and lifting. Trakm8's innovative alerts also highlight unit power loss by thieves when trying to disable the unit. However, with Trakm8's battery backup, machines can still be tracked.

indeed...will be interesting to see this one hit the radar now as...i expect a significant re-rating here over the coming days....sit back and enjoy the ride from here folks....AFC was a similar example and look where that's ended up...expect atleast a 3 bagger here if they hit targets imo:-)))

One thing I have just picked up on as well. That contract will be using that A1091 platform they bought last September. The acquisition seemed small and insiqnificant at the time. However theres going to be a lot more going to the bottom line now. Clearly they know what they are doing here.

Thats a lot to be delivered in one go. The 3 pence EPS last year looks like its going to get well smashed. Hopefully there should be some broker forecasts sooner or later. It could be possible we are currently on target for an EPS of 4p this year, I.E. a forward PE Ratio of 3-4 now. If more contracts come in later in the year like this, then 03/2012 could be even better, say eps 5-6p as those contracts start to roll over? For a company growing at a rate like this, a forward PE of 10 is certainly not to demanding so surley 50p would look good value, which makes this a 3 bagger. No wonder the directors piled in at 12p last year.
