13/9/2011 12:29 | CheshireMoggie - I agree, but if the economic outlook wasn't uncertain then you wouldn't be able to buy the shares so cheaply. Trakm8 has a very healthy balance sheet. Those competitors that don't (have a healthy balance sheet) may struggle to survive. They should be able to acquire competitors at knock down prices. Alternatively they may be acquired themselves. Just my thoughts. Good luck. Michael. | michaelmouse
13/9/2011 10:38 | Nice one Michael. The company certainly has potential, although at the moment the economic outlook is very uncertain and the market the company is operating in is crowded. CM. | cheshiremoggie

02/8/2011 15:59 | Well that hasn't happened - and acc to I/C the one broker following this has a 12 month price target of 24p- which doesnt seem out of the way. | ohisay
23/6/2011 10:34 | Yes I saw that, I guess they were hoping for a slightly lower tax bill again this year. I see this drifting lower. | envirovision
23/6/2011 10:22 | The 3p/share for the previous year is after a deferred tax credit so its not comparable - the pre tax profit is the key number. | ohisay
23/6/2011 10:20 | It just looks like the broker has done a pretty poor job of forecasting and so now it looks like results have not met expectations. I'm surprised the directors allowed this, after all they have a fair alignment with shareholders interests given their stakes. | envirovision
23/6/2011 09:26 | Got to sit down and study these results and figure out why eps is just 1p below forecast 1.4p and down from 3p last year despite increased turnover. any comments ? | envirovision

21/1/2011 17:06 | Security aspects too.Nice company this. Lee said: 'One of the most important features for us and our hire customers was that we could immobilise a vehicle immediately, when notified of a machine theft or unauthorised use. This is done online through the online SWIFT system and is one of the biggest theft deterrents on site. It was the biggest factor for us in selecting the Trakm8 system. 'It was important to Buckhurst that the software could be shared and customers could see the data coming from the machines they hired. This system allows us both to see where the vehicle is, and provides alerts straight to email if machines move out of designated construction sites.' Many stolen machines are loaded onto trucks for a quick getaway, email alerts highlight any unauthorised machine movements and lifting. Trakm8's innovative alerts also highlight unit power loss by thieves when trying to disable the unit. However, with Trakm8's battery backup, machines can still be tracked. | ohisay
21/1/2011 12:20 | indeed...will be interesting to see this one hit the radar now as...i expect a significant re-rating here over the coming days....sit back and enjoy the ride from here folks....AFC was a similar example and look where that's ended up...expect atleast a 3 bagger here if they hit targets imo:-))) | pre |
