CheshireMoggie - I agree, but if the economic outlook wasn't uncertain then you wouldn't be able to buy the shares so cheaply.

Trakm8 has a very healthy balance sheet. Those competitors that don't (have a healthy balance sheet) may struggle to survive. They should be able to acquire competitors at knock down prices. Alternatively they may be acquired themselves. Just my thoughts.

Good luck.
Michael.

Nice one Michael.

The company certainly has potential, although at the moment the economic outlook is very uncertain and the market the company is operating in is crowded.

Well that hasn't happened - and acc to I/C the one broker following this has a 12 month price target of 24p- which doesnt seem out of the way.

Yes I saw that, I guess they were hoping for a slightly lower tax bill again this year.

I see this drifting lower.

The 3p/share for the previous year is after a deferred tax credit so its not comparable - the pre tax profit is the key number.

It just looks like the broker has done a pretty poor job of forecasting and so now it looks like results have not met expectations.

I'm surprised the directors allowed this, after all they have a fair alignment with shareholders interests given their stakes.

Got to sit down and study these results and figure out why eps is just 1p below forecast 1.4p and down from 3p last year despite increased turnover. any comments ?

TRAKM8 HOLDINGS PLC

("Trakm8" or "the Company")

Manufacturing Agreement

Trakm8 (AIM: TRAK), the designer and developer of GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Trakm8 Limited, has entered into a further framework manufacturing agreement (the "Agreement") with Omitec Limited ("Omitec") for the production of new telematics hardware, the T8 Mini, which is complementary to and will be marketed alongside Trakm8's existing T8 vehicle telematics hardware platform.

This Agreement, as for the manufacturing agreement with Omitec that was announced on 21 June 2010 in relation to the T8 hardware platform, is a framework agreement for manufacture of hardware products for Trakm8 Limited. Trakm8 has placed an initial order under the Agreement with a value of GBP447,000.

Omitec, based in Devizes, Wiltshire, is a leading UK provider of automotive diagnostic products and services. Omitec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Omitec Group Ltd.

John Watkins, Chief Executive Officer of Trakm8, is also a director and shareholder of Omitec Group Ltd, and therefore the entering into the Agreement is deemed to be a related party transaction under the AIM Rules for Companies. Accordingly, the independent directors of the Company, being all of the Company's directors save for John Watkins, consider, having consulted with Arbuthnot Securities Limited, the Company's Nominated Adviser, that the terms of the Agreement are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.

Lee said: 'One of the most important features for us and our hire customers was that we could immobilise a vehicle immediately, when notified of a machine theft or unauthorised use. This is done online through the online SWIFT system and is one of the biggest theft deterrents on site. It was the biggest factor for us in selecting the Trakm8 system.

'It was important to Buckhurst that the software could be shared and customers could see the data coming from the machines they hired. This system allows us both to see where the vehicle is, and provides alerts straight to email if machines move out of designated construction sites.'

Many stolen machines are loaded onto trucks for a quick getaway, email alerts highlight any unauthorised machine movements and lifting. Trakm8's innovative alerts also highlight unit power loss by thieves when trying to disable the unit. However, with Trakm8's battery backup, machines can still be tracked.
