Nothing I've come across, but remember 26.5p only values the company at £13m.
Long way to go before true value is seen here.

Yes, in the absence of news, it looks like it was something similar to what happened a few months back.

I'd be interested to know how much money can be made out of these things. It doesn't look like anyone was able to unload a substantial amount of shares at a decent price.

I agree - likely to drift lower in the coming days.

Well done to those who managed to exit at around 25p. Bad luck to anyone else who bought their shares ..although, if news follows then you may be OK.

Unfortunately, these flash P&D exercises never quite reach my jumping off point!

Must have been a carefully crafted P & D, which failed to arouse a sufficiently large interest.
Also that it tailed off completely at 1550hrs today, with no follow-through.

Unless there's some half decent news from the company I'd guess the share price will drift a little lower in the days ahead, although the agm's not that far ahead, from memory.

Main thing, is that the buy volume is much higher than of late and is taking the price with it.

It may have something to do with Microlise's recent success - it may not. There has also been some coverage of Trakm8 in UK Investor Magazine, based on a detailed broker note - the note is available on the house broker's website. Other than these possible factors and the limited number of shares available to PIs, I'm not sure.

When IPO-ing, they are not going to say it was a bad move to chuck in £2m to save a company and in return get 20%....i suspect this valuation is under water. I expect they will write just let it run its course.... and hope that someone buys TRak.
The acquitions Watkins mad were a farce...at least 2 of them no IPR and just marketing/sales companies of an others product... he bought Route Monkey for silly money - a tired and clunky system ....and where is the existing owner of RM now...... left and started up again selling his wears on a modern and up to date platform....whilst he leaves the old IPR product with Watkin. Huge re-structure, redundancy costs, stock write owns and debt..... How many does watkin have oin furliugh still???

I'm not sure I agree entirely with your huge money assessment, but who knows. Interestingly, they mention their strategic investment in Trak in their IPO prospectus - there is also a note to say they don't expect to lose anything on the investment (which doesn't necessarily mean they won't of course, but I would think that Raza is better placed to make this assessment that you or I).

What do you think they plan to do with their 20%? Sell it down - perhaps to Watkins? Or will it be a case of picking over the bones of Trakm8 (during administration) in your opinion?

I think the CEO is a bright guy ! I have met him......but I am sorry to say this, but TRakm8 is a complete basket case and to try and salvage and make good will take huge money and be a massive distraction to microlise and not give them revenue growth potential. Microlise surely will be looking any acquisitions outside the UK, to gain real growth and market share in the sectors they have been successful in. there would point listing jut to buy this pup

I think most shareholders here would be more than happy with 1/4 decent offer or even 1/8 decent offer ?

I agree and the market may well be beginning to get a sniff of it. Of course, Micro investors may also have made the connection and are speculatively hoovering up Trakm8 shares (which will seem extremely cheap even despite the companies not really being comparable in terms of history etc...). Either way, I think a buyout is highly possible. Strip out the costs (the BOD alone costs more than £1m a year), and the just the recurring rev contracts (circa £10m) would be a nice add on for Micro - particularly if they want more of a footprint in insurance / breakdown (which everybody else seems to be exiting).

My thinking has always been this company will fold, or be sold. Can't see it drifting on indefinitely.

Microlise very strong performance since listing. I am guessing they have expensive paper with which to make a half decent offer for TRAK. If they were ever going to strike then it can't be that far off.
