19/1/2021 12:11 | Yes - 52250 @ 17p and also I see a deal for 80000 @ 16.2p. Maybe Blonde has bought back in. | trakm8fan
19/1/2021 11:17 | Another biggish buy today, 522,250 shares but at the higher price of 17p | deltaham
18/1/2021 15:42 | I see a buy today for 65,393 shares at 16.2p | trakm8fan
14/1/2021 18:33 | Under their new ownership the AA should now be in a position to push forward with their Smart Breakdown, Smart Insurance telematics offerings without distraction. Hopefully it'll translate into significantly increased device orders from Trakm8?:- | michaelmouse
12/1/2021 10:36 | Hello everyone. Trakm8 Fan here. Remember me? Just thought I'd give this thread a nudge. Hoping to get some of the determined bulls - like me - and the angry bears commenting. Perhaps chit chat won't work on its own so instead I'll use some evocative language like .... I'm predicting over 30p by the end of 2021. | trakm8fan
16/12/2020 16:48 | Intelematics Europe is where you will find the AA digital partners in Europe. | axdelta
16/12/2020 09:39 | Horny Eagle - I'm pretty sure the AA deal is also for Europe and further afield. I had a quick look for the relevant RNS but can't find them. We all know about the AA deal. Does anyone know if they provide European cover or have European partners? | trakm8fan
15/12/2020 19:21 | What is the latest on the other large optimisation deal they are in talks with? We get lumbered with all the bad news. How about some positive stuff that could pay off? Any idea who the European smart breakdown order was from? | horndean eagle
15/12/2020 11:55 | Jacko - what's the view on this Peter guy. Is he having an impact? | trakm8fan
15/12/2020 11:16 | Just reading through threads as needed a break especially from mad man Micheal mouse. Majority of people who were on furlough have now exited. Mainly as they felt uncomfortable silenced when they were told to work during lockdown. I myself have been in many conversations to keep the drum beating. Production is still and was running as a small amount of buffer stock Held but most are made to a quarterly forecast. Trak is now lean apart from too many fat cats at the top but rest of the teams especially sales are operating on skeleton staff and using partners and resellers for sales hence insurance and direct team decimated. Of course Mouse will disagree in some way to hide the truth but my info is factually sane as Andre abd Blondie who know the company well not fiction! | 6jacko
15/12/2020 10:12 | I'm seeing 18.8 buy and 15.6 sell on a parcel of 25000 shares. | trakm8fan
14/12/2020 17:49 | Ch1ck - Sorry. You are chirping up the wrong tree. TrakM8's OBDII trackers are in no way suitable for tracking temperature controlled vaccines. And at -80 degrees, I doubt most refrigeration tracking specialists are ready despite being in the temperature monitoring market either. You shouldn't try to find Covid bumps where there are none. IMHO | andre
14/12/2020 17:07 | Microlise,Masternaut | 6jacko
14/12/2020 16:49 | It's not going to happen Ch1ck as IMO tracking of the vehicles involved is secondary to tracking of the vaccines. "Pfizer has developed a special transport box the size of a suitcase, packed with dry ice and installed with GPS trackers." "Wiltshire-based firm Polar Thermals makes similar boxes for other vaccines and counts Pfizer among its clients, but not yet for this particular purpose." | dave2608
14/12/2020 15:24 | In my post I did not say track8 were doing this but asked who the largest players in this arena are. I would like to think Track 8 are looking into this area as a possible area of expansion. | ch1ck
14/12/2020 15:22 | Hi Andre I don't think you understand the flexibility of this system which provides telemetry data from the vehicle back to base. The value of Pharma drugs makes the tracking of vehicles very important. It is not a difficult task to fit a system such as Track8 and monitor their situation. This is from Track8's website. A self-fit dongle connects to the OBD port, making AA Fleet Intelligence low-cost and easy to install. The data is accessible through a simple web portal. With tracking and geo-fencing as standard, AA's engineers can clearly see the location of any broken down vehicle. Fleet Intelligence alsoincludes driver behaviour monitoring, with an accelerometer capturing heavy-footed driving. Furthermore, it activates automatic data transmission to the fleet managers and the AA Insurance Services (for AA insurance customers) in the event of a collision. | ch1ck
14/12/2020 11:24 | Ch1ck - Trak has nothing, zero, zip to do with tracking vaccines. And even suggesting that they might is to completely misunderstand their business. Imho. | andre
14/12/2020 11:14 | Just a thought There is going to be a massive rollout of the vaccine all over the world thIs stuff will need to be tracked Question who are the biggest players in the tracking game?I can see this popping but the 11% spread puts me off. | ch1ck
07/12/2020 10:22 | MM, See insurance sales director left and joined Tracker, they must be doing amazing on insurance sales. one person left in insurance team now!!! | 6jacko
01/12/2020 14:12 | "At Trakm8, we have made significant investment into telematics technology which can be seamlessly integrated into electric vehicles. Our solutions can provide valuable insights into diagnostics and battery health, giving up-to-the-minute updates as to the vehicles current battery charge. This data can be extrapolated to provide accurate charge times for each vehicle within the fleet. What’s more, our Insight Optimisation route planning solution is especially adapted for EV fleets, with scheduling and routing calculated via machine learning to incorporate EV range, charge point capacity, location, availability, charging times, battery level and required range. “Ultimately, the government’s recent announcement spells significant opportunity for the fleet sector. By investing in the solutions they need now to successfully run a mixed and, eventually, completely electric fleet, they can ensure they are ahead of the industry curve; shoring up sustainability, increasing efficiencies and, crucially, saving money.” | michaelmouse
30/11/2020 17:31 | Bottom fisher - I am one so accused. But I would a different take to yours. This grant of options costs nothing. Therefore it could equally be a spin exercise. Alternatively, it could be meant as a carrot for Trak’s directors to pull their fingers out or find a way to bump the price. The directors don’t have sterling reputations. As for Mr Raza, buying stock a day or so before the Sainsbury’s announcement should be investigated.... but it won’t be. It speaks volumes to some of us though. Finally, the market wasn’t exactly happy with the options news either, was it. All IMHO of course. | andre
30/11/2020 14:42 | Judging by the comments of several contributors to this chat room, TrakM8 has no future. However today’s announcement of the granting of 250,000 options to several executives at an exercise price of 32.5p per Ordinary Share, to vest on 27 November 2023, is mildly reassuring. The options can only be exercised if the mid-market share price is 50 pence or more at the time of exercise. Given that so many companies issue executives with nil cost share share options, it is encouraging to see options being issued with an exercise price roughly double the current share price. Whilst shareholders may question the ability of the current management team, virtually all of them have sizeable individual stakes and own just over 25% of the business. In addition they invested £717,000 at the time of the December 2018 share placing which saw Microlise come in as a 20% shareholder. Since then Nadeem Raza, Microlise’s owner, has invested £70,000 to more than double his personal stake in Trak to 1.2%, in addition to his company’s 20% stake. Whilst it is easy to pick holes in Trak’s recent trading performance, and highly stretched balance sheet, Trak’s management team cannot be accused of not having enough ‘skin in the game’. | bottomfisher |
