It also implies growth aka the 'survival' loan

Recruitment could be for a number of reasons - not all positive. However, the fleet sales director did say something on linkedin about the need to recruit as a result of an influx of contracts.

And? They've been recruiting heavily for the past 3 years and the profit warnings hit us like tsunamis all the while.

Trakm8 are now recruiting for someone to help with their recruitment so they must be expanding their head count now and medium term.

I think Blonde's post was tongue in cheek.

Simple loans for growing businesses Take the next step in your growth journey with Midlands Engine finance. Sounds like it: "The Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) is a partnership between the British Business Bank and 10 Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) based across the Midlands, created to provide business support and a funding boost to small business growth in the region. Maven is the appointed Fund Manager for MEIF Debt Finance. The Fund can support established, cash generative companies based across the Midlands aiming to create jobs and contribute to the economy. The funding available is: £50 million for businesses in the West Midlands £40 million for businesses in the East & South East Midlands. Funding can help your company expand its operations, hire new staff, purchase machinery, manage working capital and grow customer reach." They also must have met the criteria. Whilst mistakes will no doubt be made, I doubt these loans (in the case of Trak, close to the maximum available) are readily given to failing (or likely to fail) business. The emphasis is on cash generative, growing businesses. Now that doesn't sound like Trakm8 over the last few years, but going forward ... well.

I thought the loan came from a government backed scheme to encourage growth in the Midlands. I suggest they just took advantage of available cash which they may or may not need.

Perhaps. Perhaps you know more than me about the state of the business. I guess, time will tell. Good luck with the shares you're invested in.

growth loan - survival loan more like.... Not form their bank but some loan company ! Any mention what interest they pay, and the penalty clauses attached ???? They threw away great and profitable business of their old solutions before they had secured strong new product sales - crazy and arrogant pricing am afraid! Good Luck though

That my friend is well documented. Nearly bought some QTX, a while back at around 250p ..damn. I don't think the selling is any indication of anything other than a turbulent market at the moment. I sold some the other week - just a few to buy back lower because I assumed it would drift down and it has... In the absence of news we may end up back at 18p.

Slightly odd, that the mm broadened the spread with virtually no volume.

Another small Fleet contract: Https://www.trakm8.com/news/lavazza-professional-saves-time-and-money-with-trakm8 After years of issues, Fleet seems to be doing well and it's not via one huge partner but with many smaller ones. I'd rather see a whale that has 2000+ devices but those days are long gone, they are all paired up with a telematics provider by now and TRAK already has many of those. These smaller contracts are good publicity and slowly rise the amount of Fleet devices.

I think something is going on here AA is moving up strongly and is important to Trak8. I have just bought after seeing the massive volume spike. Some knows there is good news about to arrive
