So no B2B roll out until FY20, thats disappointing, thats a long time for competitors to steal a march with these clients, why cant Trak target these now, or are they? I missed the bit about giving this away by the AA or is this rumour?

Picked up a few. Large seller still there but just choosing their levels at present. You can understand why TRAK have set in motion their expanded operations. If AA are looking at giving away the product then will boost numbers markedly. That should finally be a game changer and hopefully the start of a long awaited recovery.

Makes sense that AA had results today. Market is bent as hell. Might try and hoover up given we should get announcement in due course.

It's worth reading the AA's half-year report in full above. In particular reference to Trakm8, this gives an indication of the scale over the next few years:-

"We are testing the market for connected car breakdown solutions initially through the roll-out of our award winning product, Car Genie. As at end August, approximately 15,500 units were distributed to and activated by our personal member base. During the second half of the year, we will continue with the roll-out plan, allowing a larger-scale test of its impact on membership retention, operational benefits and distribution models. We will also integrate elements of our Car Genie app into the AA breakdown app this year allowing our members to benefit from an integrated journey at the point of breakdown. From FY20 we plan to extend the rollout to include B2B partners and connected insurance propositions, and to drive mass adoption. We believe we can reach scale with B2B partners from FY21."

I understand that the AA may look in due course to give their connected car product free to members. Its cost effective for them to do so as it saves them having to deal with call outs for flat batteries etc. If that is confirmed then we should definitely see a bigger move higher.

Bit perky today. Not sure whats behind it. TRAK is so unloved (deservedly so) but hopefully a few more contract wins can change that.

Well if you hold a bucketload of shares, I'd expect you to be happy with a move in the price upwards. Kind of stating the obvious is it not?

Why am I still here? Because it's interesting watching this story unfold. It's Like a soap opera.

We have seen rallies in the last couple of years of the share price but let's be honest, they've all been sucker rallies buoyed on by optimistic rhetoric which as of yet just hasn't materialised. Are we about to have another sucker rally or is it the real deal this time? Let's just say I'm not so optimistic as some. Not suggesting for one moment that it's not possible, it is, but I'm highly skeptical. Now I've no doubt that some folk have made a packet here by riding these sucker rallies, then flogging their stock and buying in again after another tank in the share price, waiting for the nest sucker rally, rinse and repeat.

Personally, I'm pleased with the move upward - particularly, given my recent top up at 59p.

If you're no longer 'sucked in' and don't believe in the growth story, why are you here? In fact, don't answer that.

I wish you better luck elsewhere.

Cheers

Are you actually being serious?

This contract is EXPECTED to be a significant one. So it's a big fat maybe. A significant one in what time period? Maybe 5 years from now? I'm afraid another airy fairy RNS from the masters of obfuscation. The story never changes. The big pot of gold is always just over the rainbow with these guys.

Blondy - 100p would be very nice indeed. I'm curious as to what part Trak play in this - is it the dongle and data to LN's servers for their team to analyse - a bit light Floow does for DL?

No numbers given? I used to work for LexisNexis though, they were big on "big data".

Havent we been here before with Lexis Nexis? I recall them shouting about them before at an investors day a couple of years ago or may have been an RNS or something. Lets hope they sell some this time and get this price going upwards.
