I see michaelmouse is talking about growth assumptions from a pr spin via the company website. Surely you cannot go off assumption of a BOD that has failed it's PI so often. Forced to restate accounts, paid a divi when it didn't have the funds.

All the talk of TRAK being an attractive acquisition, all the time ignoring the numbers. One particular vociferous ramper ignored his own double standards, accounting issues, awkward questions put to him by his nemesis, elrico. So far, in 2 years, elrico is the only one that called it correct, twice he predicted 60p, twice 60p was nailed. The first time, the share price was near 120p, the next 110p. Michaelmouse, i think you owe my friend an apology. You will need to pass it on to me because he doesn't use ADVFN anymore because of trolls like you. I hope you are proud. But hey, you have a rival for wealth destruction.

Rayrac would give you a run for your money, if you have any left.

Well, as some have said previously Trak seems more like a privately run family business. Just happens to be listed. Not a bad, IMO, as we can all benefit from the growth story. Yes it's suffered. But the reasons for this are well documented and understood by those that pay attention. The overall impression I got - particularly from the FD - was that there's some light starting to beam into murkwood. We're not quite there, but give it a year and things should be more settled and the numbers will have improved dramatically. I stuck another 10K, in yesterday so hopefully my intuition / thinking is right here.

Helpful presentation, in terms of unpacking the figures and outlining strategy.

Of particular note here:

54.58 - Q: will you call for more cash re 1m connections target? (paraphrase)
JFW: "We do not believe we need external finance to do that".

Trakm8 AGM 2018 - Optimising Performance

I don't see the need for a placing and nothing in recent updates suggests that there's any need for such action. In terms of director buys, the history of this BOD is they rarely do so, on the basis on a drop in share price Remember, by their calculations and forecasts, the company is moving forward as planned - even if the share price - is depressed.

"The Board is pleased to report that the outlook for the year ending 31 March 2019 is in line with market expectations, with an improved financial performance driven by continued growth in the telematics business more than offsetting the eliminated CEM activities...

The second half of the year will benefit from resumption of volume shipments to the significant customer referenced above and increased momentum in the fleet management market. The Directors are also confident that new contracts to be awarded, particularly in the insurance space, will drive additional revenues in the second half of the year."

Now the key here, is the completion/signing of new contracts, if that hasn't taken place already.

Would be great if some of the directors demonstrated their faith in Trak's long-term future by topping up their stakes at these depressed levels rather than wait for another deeply discounted placing open only to the board and a few hand picked institutions.

Quite often actually. In fact someone mentioned the other day that they were closing some T20s.
I agree though that we don't hear of sells so much here but I think this is because this BB is generally populated by long-term holders.

Funny how on these boards people are always quick to say I bought 10k or £20k but how many times do you hear people say I sold 10k or £20k.
