AA has built a brand new Connected Car team and expanding it now, they plan to bring the Car Genie technology to their B2B business. Take a closer look at the Product Manager role:

Diagnostic Engineer -
Product Manager - Connected Car -

Delivering B2B Connected Car products and services to market in FY18 and work with technical team to develop a product roadmap beyond that

Relaunching and rebranding the Fleet product to align to the Car Genie product architecture and roll this out across all touch-points

They'll go big with this in 2018.

Yes, Trakm8 provide the same device to the AA in the UK, ANWB in Netherlands and OAMTC in Austria. They have formed a company called Intelematics Europe.

After the Car Genie is now playing on TV ads and radio shows all over the country, advertising our product at no cost to us..Netherlands has fired up.

ANWB launched our product's first TV ad:



It's called ANWB Connected there, same device twice the profit as it is sold for 60 EUR per year plus 50 EUR one-off device cost. That's 110 EUR per device for the first year and they not only sell it to their 4.4 million members but also to non-members for 126 EUR. That's another 13m people.

Our products are for the first time sold to retail clients, exposed to roughly 20m people at the moment. And Austria is about to launch soon as well under the name OAMTC Smart Connect.

It's really epic what Trakm8 has pulled through here and no one seems to notice.

A couple more contract wins should secure the direction of this. Great security now with existing clients via recuring revenue.

Should be some significant news on another deal soon imo.

Its obviously able to retain and gain new clients, one of these is supplying the AA as i see it, therfore it will follow that they will also supply the other breakdown companies like RAC and GreenFlag etc.

I'm have done business with calor, and its a massive opperation. I have a family member, moaning he is now being tracked all day in his van (works for a energy company). Get the picture. Slow start to big promise, but the business here is only going to get stronger imo. Good visability on revenue too. They have a bloody good sales force i reckon by the weight of these contracts!

· initial contract awarded by a roadside assistance technology company (Intelematics)

· initial three year contract awarded by Mecalac for a minimum 2,000 units over three years

· contract extension awarded by Iceland Foods until 2024 for an integrated solution

· contract extension awarded by Shell initially for the US market

· initial contract awarded by Calor Gas for five years for an integrated solution

Wait for a break past 120p, this is going to be a firework stock imo back to +200p

Yes it's a little disappointing that hard numbers were omitted but it's not, in my opinion, evidence of "backs against the wall". In fact the update suggests quite the opposite:

"We remain on track to report improved cash generation this financial year in line with market expectations."

"The Board's outlook for the year of a much improved financial performance is unchanged."

Unless you're suggesting deception on the part of the trak BOD - which is a pretty serious charge to make without facts/evidence.


Also, I see little point in hoping you're wrong; surely, in such circumstances, one should hope one is right?!

Good luck in the greener pastures you believe are elsewhere.

The simple fact there are no figures in the trading update, their backs are against the wall and they must be open to negotiating contracts at any price. That is my fear which currently makes this uninvestable for me

I hope I am wrong.

I there are plenty here that remain positive about the long-term growth prospects of this company. The trading update should fuel this optimism. But please could you elaborate (perhaps with the addition of facts) on why you "see more cash burn and another fundraise", as you put it?

Nice to read a positive update. Breakout to 120p, and a return to 200p. Volume momentum building now. Trading update ahead of last year. All you need to know.
