19/10/2014 20:37 | Just a reminder.. Trak will be presenting and having a stand on the Friday at my Mello2014 investor show in Derby from 6-8th November if any of you would like to meet them and also meet 54 other companies during the event ? There is a star studded line up on the main stage with fantastic keynote speakers including one that is actually a shareholder here. www.mello2014.com | davidosh
13/10/2014 20:34 | Some excellent buying opportunities arising with the small and micro-caps. This one in particular. I love indiscriminate sell-offs. Recently bought more shares in an outfit called 7Digital whilst it was friendless. Everybody's best mate today. 77% rise in the SP, and far more to come I suspect. Trakm8 is in the right place at the right time on a modest forward PE, but with double digit growth. The shares are illiquid, but you should always use this to your advantage and buy when the sellers are spooked by general market sentiment. The short, medium and long term prospects for Trakm8 haven't changed in the last few days. Terrific little growth company with very solid fundamentals and strong management. Some might wish to take advantage of any weakness in the SP? No advice intended. From my blog in September:- Michael. | michaelmouse
13/10/2014 19:23 | A derisory share price now, I suspect that won't last for long. Forward PE less than 10! | hydrus
13/10/2014 13:36 | Don't know why but very disappointing. Im considering making extra funds available to take advantage should it fall to 55 - 60 pence range as this looks next support level. This is looking v. cheap to me. | whilstev

23/9/2014 18:20 | I like to cast my eye over the RNS's from big TRAK customers. Here's a piece from the AA's Interim Report. "Work is already underway to assess these and establish priorities for investment that will drive tangible growth in revenue and realise cost efficiencies. At the core of these plans will be investment in technology and systems designed to improve significantly the customer experience, particularly in the digital environment. Over the course of the next few months the buy-in team will quantify the investment required and the time scale necessary to achieve the anticipated results. These findings will be incorporated in a wider strategy review and vision that will be communicated to investors in advance of the publication of the full year results to January 2015." Might be worth keeping an eye on, over the autumn. | ricgains
19/9/2014 20:39 | Nice steady news flow :- "Trakm8 partner with Catalina to enhance their Freedom logistics solution Trakm8 have partnered with market leading logistics software provider, Catalina Software to provide hard wired tracking and direct data feed integration with the company’s Freedom software. Traditionally Fleet Operators have been able to track their drivers via a PDA which has been reliant on the driver keeping the device in the vehicle and switched on at all times. Catalina can now offer their customers another solution using Trakm8’s T8 telematics unit. The Trakm8 unit provides Catalina customers with an accurate and reliable hard wired tracking and vehicle information architecture to maximise security and further enhance the tracking data in Freedom. Trakm8’s partnership also gives Catalina’s clients the option to use Trakm8’s SWIFT web portal. This gives the Fleet Operator the opportunity to monitor driver behaviour and reduce their fuel costs with Trakm8 ecoN. By providing real time feedback to drivers via an in-cab light bar, Fleet Operators can promote a smoother driving style to improve fuel economy and enhance passenger comfort. Philip Batten, Account Manager at Catalina Software Ltd comments, “Trakm8 have proven success within our target market and their reliable telematics units is what we need to add value to our client offering. We are now able to offer our clients a cost effective solution to high asset security and reliable event driven tracking that highlights a number of configured events in real time. An embedded link in Freedom allows users to easily access Trakm8’s SWIFT web portal enabling them to monitor driver behaviour.” Jonathan Law, Trakm8 Sales Director said, “We are delighted that Trakm8 have partnered with Catalina Software Ltd to enhance their client offering. Trakm8 have previously worked closely with executive hire companies and look forward to welcoming new fleets to Freedom and Trakm8’s SWIFT web portal.” Trakm8’s partnership with Catalina provides customers with accurate and reliable information to enhance Freedom. Trakm8’s SWIFT web portal enables the Fleet Operator to monitor driver behaviour to improve passenger comfort and reduce fuel costs." Cheers. Michael. | michaelmouse
17/9/2014 15:22 | Thanks ohisay, really helpful | hydrus
17/9/2014 14:57 | GWR7.....oops that is not good is it? Hope for their sake, no one else has the duds, because if it prolofic....Direct Line may take legal proceedings......as boy racers dart aropund at 50mph in a 30....and the reading does not show it......scary | harrison15
15/9/2014 09:00 | Come and meet TRAK tonight at Mello (mellomeeting.com) Mello2014 will launch at the event tonight as well | davidosh
15/9/2014 07:23 | The driver behaviour function doesn't work either harrison. My score has been stuck on 82% for the last six weeks and the bar charts have been similarly static. I don't speed but I could be doing 90 all the way into work and the trakm8 gizmo would still be scoring me 82%. Obviously I don't know what proportion of duds there are out there and I suspect Direct Line are also blissfully ignorant on this matter. | gwr7
14/9/2014 19:15 | Another encouraging contract win announced on Friday which moves them into a new territory, very encouraged by the progress they are making, see below:- Michael. | michaelmouse
12/9/2014 09:42 | Re-written as made no sense...apologies :) The whole point of the device is for 'driver beahviour'....speedi | harrison15
12/9/2014 09:41 | The whole point of the device is for 'driver beahviour....speedin | harrison15
12/9/2014 09:05 | That's an interesting point. I'm delighted by the device. It got me the discount and I'm not subject to external monitoring. If I'd bought it and wanted it on its merits that would be a different matter. Anyway good luck with your investment. I had a four bagger with mine and am happy with that. | gwr7
12/9/2014 08:37 | My understanding is that feedback from direct line and their customers has been very good | hydrus
12/9/2014 08:20 | Surely somebody knows just how good or bad this device is.Would hardly have got all these contracts if suspect.Anybody else with experience of this product? | rogash
12/9/2014 07:33 | New contract win in Norway to open up Scandinavia. More recurring revenue. | lanzarote666
11/9/2014 22:34 | It may have developed a fault but after only two months that's poor. I'm waiting to see how long Direct Line take to work it out. As I say, I don't think anyone is looking at the data. While it was working the information was of no practical use to me so I'm not bothered about asking for a replacement. | gwr7
11/9/2014 19:42 | So it might be faulty? Did you ask for a replacement? | hydrus
05/9/2014 21:19 | Great little company, future looks very promising on all fronts. I particularly like the recurring revenues associated with fleet management. Discussions about customer adoption reaching a turning point leading to market acceleration is exciting as is the growth opportunities in high premium insurance market (is mainly young drivers). I had the opportunity to see a T10 which gets posted to Direct Line customers for self install and it is very small and smart looking. Smallest on the market as I understand it. | hydrus |
