London taxis are designed by London Taxis International who have entered into a production agreement with China's largest independent car maker Geely. Christopher Ross sits on the board of directors at both Manganese Bronze (owners of London Taxis Int.) and Antonov, and Geely have taken out a licence to build Antonov transmissions.

So the chances of Traction Technology's technology going into proper taxis in the next ten years is minimal in my opinion.

Getrag, ZF, Aisin, Allison, GM Powertrain, Fuji Heavy, etc are all capable of building transmissions and they won't want to be cutting their profits by paying royalties and they are hostile to newcomers.

Use with taxis was an area being developed, maybe trial results or announcements covering this? Something afoot though.

Judging by the share price rises lately, an update could be imminent. Good news could take us back up to 70p+.

Just to say, I was in at 35 with just short of £30k in total and I hope this goes well. The company looks sound and the management looks more than capable. The upside on this share is immense, however I am a little concerned about the % fuel savings over the competition and alternatives. Maybe full electric would be better. I know the government have targets to meet but will they take a small step before the big one?

Spread narrowed to 7% then went back up to 12% . I'm not gonna buy more until they stabilise it

i agree sb, but MMs were playing around to clear the seller..and as this is illiquid, they were messing around to keep their books balanced..just my opinion.

This 12.5% spread is a killer. I see someone went in for 58,000 shares at 28p at 8.15 this morning - but of course the deal didn't get reported until much later - by which time the MMs had racked the price up.
There's too much price manipulation going on in this share.

just a thought that a 'T' seller has been selling for a few days now, as well as today.
When they are done, we may see a sharp move up...so i'm watching closely.

i would be happy if it consolidates here between 30-40p range until next RNS.

this quite illiquid it the way buys/sells can make this quite volatile.
