02/5/2018 20:44 | There's a good-sized buyer mopping all the stock up at 7p. Only natural there will be some stale sellers around, but it feels like this price might stick. | tiltonboy
02/5/2018 20:05 | On the acquisition front they are clearly very busy with contract business and I'm prepared to wait. | timojelly
02/5/2018 17:20 | Bullster, the orders could be in as TPG don't announce orders much under £500k. The AMC cost the thick end of £1.5m to set up and the trigger was said to be the CE oil and gas order (within the nuclear sector). As this order was for £1.5m it would make little sense to spend £1.5m in the AMC unless they felt that there was a market for further orders. I can't see this management spending this money AND reconfiguring their traditional engineering business (selling off SSM to the management)if they weren't fairly sure of additional orders. TPG works closely with any number of tier one contractors and these large companies lack the flexibility for low volume work. Hopefully the orders are already coming in but given that they appear to be going for the one off or low volume high spec business it is unlikely that the individual orders would trigger an announcement. Lots of lowish cost, high margin orders would quickly add up. | pavey ark
02/5/2018 13:15 | 10p may come sooner than many expect. TP no longer priced to go bust and these orders also make them attractive as TO target - inside track to MOD (high margin work). Key of course is that the price the jobs properly so they actually make a profit and it is not done just to "get the gig" and is a loss leader (which makes sense to some extent). | trentendboy
02/5/2018 10:43 | £100 million target was indeed mentioned in Simon Kings presentations a couple of years ago. Did anyone notice the opening bid/offer this morning by any chance? | qackers
02/5/2018 10:20 | I am very impressed with the news coming out of TPG at the moment. I also would like to see the nuclear power station work with some of the upcoming announcements in that sector and I'm sure I remember an announcement about nuclear power work from the Engineering sector. I would like to see a nuclear division under the TPG banner but I think that be more of a dream on my part. Pleased with progress to date. | eastbutwest80
02/5/2018 09:34 | . . Orders for nuclear power station work, keenly awaited. . . | bullster
02/5/2018 09:22 | Yet another order. | azalea
02/5/2018 09:07 | They are unlikely to be offloads. They will be the delayed buys causing the price price. | paulgo
02/5/2018 09:06 | Somebody mopping up these sells, no effect on the share price | timojelly
02/5/2018 09:03 | Didn't they state a £100 million target Pavey in the past Pavey? | timojelly
02/5/2018 09:01 | It's good to see people offloading on the way up. | timojelly
02/5/2018 08:43 | At 31st Dec 2015 the order book stood at £14.5m. At 31st Dec 2017 the order book was £32m Today the order book the order book must be comfortably over £40m and heading to £50m. | pavey ark
02/5/2018 07:20 | I take it that this is some of the MoD deal that the house broker said was not yet included as booked orders. Although the delivery period is over a fairly long period it does mean that the order book has just increased by £12.5m The equipment part of the MoD deals has now been "called off" as they put it and is effectively a seven/ eight year contract with TPG building a very efficient manufacturing process round this guaranteed work. From a manufacturing production point of view the benefits to margins for these and additional overseas orders is obvious. | pavey ark
02/5/2018 07:13 | RNS..... In the bag! | timojelly
01/5/2018 19:20 | Well, I can't see anything negative. Crossing into double figure soon hopefully. | timojelly
01/5/2018 16:23 | Winning these contracts brings serious credibility to the company - can leverage this for contracts globally following the UK military trust factor. I did not have so many shares already it is a tempting price. 10p would not be a stretch by any means | trentendboy
01/5/2018 16:21 | Is this a re-rating by any chance? | grinley boy
30/4/2018 15:20 | Very nice contracts and it shows that the Services Unit could be a serious earner for TPG. The company has repeatedly said over the past couple of years that they in a good position to pick up this work and we must remember that Wellman Defence had a ten year contract with the MoD which Corac continued through their MS unit. All looks very good. | pavey ark
30/4/2018 07:56 | . . Wind farms: Ministry of Defence safeguarding The MOD ensures that any planned developments do not adversely impact its operational capability through a process known as safeguarding. Wind turbines can adversely affect a number of MOD operations including radars, seismological recording equipment, communications facilities, naval operations and low flying. These effects are not limited to specific geographical areas. Joint Forces Command ("JFC") on the MoD's ERUGATE project Early Response Unit ?. . . | bullster

30/4/2018 07:21 | . . RNS. MoD contract awards TP Group (AIM: TPG), the specialist services and engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two contracts by the Ministry of Defence ("MoD"), through its Enterprise Technical Alliance ("ETA") initiative. These are the first contracts of scale to be awarded to TPG under the ETA initiative. The first contract will see TP Group provide specialist support to Joint Forces Command ("JFC") on the MoD's ERUGATE project, with the contract valued at GBP1.0 million over 35 months. In addition, the Group will also support the SAFEGUARDING program, in a contract valued at GBP0.8 million over two years, with additional options for the project to reach up to GBP1.6 million over the contract period. . . | bullster
30/4/2018 07:19 | And more contracts roll in....... | timojelly
26/4/2018 23:06 | PA, link works fine. Thanks for the info. | m1keg
26/4/2018 22:51 | hxxps://www.regjerin Just found this and it is quite important as it gives an idea of the potential of TPG's links with TKMS. ( Hope the link works for you: remember to change hxxps to https) | pavey ark |
