04/10/2017 10:05 | I see Simon Kings "pressing the flesh" at the Pacific2017 Expo (TPG web site) This is a reminder that TPG supply the winning contractor for the contract to build 12 new submarines for the Australian Navy. £2m upfront plus £3m maintenance over 20 years or so X 12 = £60m give or take. I know that this is over 20/30 years but equally it is one helluva forward order prospect. Just by the way, I couldn't resist taking cash from last night's closing market cap to find that the maritime business, which looks like producing an EBITDA of £5m this year is being valued at £18m. If you are wondering, I simply gave away the engineering unit, the managed solution unit and all that expensively acquired IP from Corac. It's a funny old world !! EDIT: No point in building expensive submarines if the are laid up due to a shortage of vital components. I wonder if the French and then possibly the Australians will sign up to long term supply and maintenance contacts in the way that the RN did ? I consider AIP developments to be very positive for TPG. | pavey ark
02/10/2017 17:41 | Bullster (2486)"It was all there, if i had looked properly in the TR-1, it's about time that was made simpler" Yes, most of the TR-1 form consists of just questions with no answers, since most of it is "not applicable" most of the time. If they published the actual information without the guff it would come out in about six lines instead of two hundred. | arf dysg
29/9/2017 13:19 | I'm talking about the smaller trades over the last few days. | paulgo
29/9/2017 13:14 | . They were a buy and a sell. Better to say an exchange. That's why it's called the stock exchange. What matters is, what price was the exchange done at, higher or lower to the prevailing price. p.s.. this includes the smaller trades over the last few days, and all others. . . | bullster
29/9/2017 09:51 | All these 6.3 trades lately are buys. | paulgo
28/9/2017 10:01 | . jamielein, thanks, another mystery solved. p.s. It was all there, if i had looked properly in the TR-1, it's about time that was made simpler, as a side note, lol. . . | bullster

28/9/2017 08:58 | . If i'm not mistaken, the notification RNS that CANACCORD GENUITY GROUP INC has acquired 12.24% of the stock, that's around 93,000.000 shares, is due to one thing. As there hasn't been that much trading activity it leaves me with the conclusion that these shares were bought off market, OTC (over the counter) or "dark pool". It may be a coincidence that Hargreaves Hale was holding 12.24% of the stock, this leads me to believe that their entire holding has been flipped to CANACCORD GENUITY off the book. . . | bullster
18/9/2017 16:03 | It looks as if the first IC recommendation hit the streets on the first of June. The share price is now back down to the pre-recommendation level, or maybe an eighth of a penny higher. This second recommendation by IC isn't having the same effect on the share price, I wonder why? | arf dysg |
