27/2/2017 10:03 | You are right there Eggb Market-makers not slow off the mark though | pillion
27/2/2017 08:25 | Looking at the size and number of trades this morning, or at least the trades that are showing few people have been swayed by the MOS article. | eggbaconandbubble
26/2/2017 15:55 | expect a good boost to price in the morning from tip in the mail on sunday today.their tips tend to be very effrctive. | manrobert
24/2/2017 16:52 | I was at the 2014 AGM and Edward Ziff could not have been more welcoming. He even brought my cup of tea over after the formal meeting. I think these sort of family companies are under the radar of most other investors but people like us are happy to be part of the family. | ladywormer
24/2/2017 09:31 | This is a family controlled firm with 53% in the hands of directors (Telegraph 2015) inferring duplication of some holdings shown as non beneficial. (Trusts?) Seems that institutional holdings, what there is, is generally smaller holdings. This appears to be a REIT concentrating on basic dividend, which have been modestly increasing. | inki
23/2/2017 14:17 | Chairman - I don't think I've ever looked at tis aspect! (Mea culpa.) It can't be described as other than a "family firm", of course - another reason for the discount. I do remember that Edward Ziff couldn't be bothered takling to me at the AGM I attended a few years ago (though he was very effusive to some others). Other directors were very welcoming and communicative though. | jonwig
23/2/2017 13:57 | the opacity of the Ziff family makes this more like a family firm - the only purpose for the listing is so as to give an opportunity for managers to get share options and the resultant drag on the equity as they get issued as new discounted shares and then sold seems entrenched. | chairman20
23/2/2017 07:23 | Half year report: Nothing to get excited about, nor concerned about. Dividend and EPRA eps up a bit, NAV down a bit (Merrion Centre owing to 'a yield shift' ... would have liked more detail on that). LTV still at 50% probably explains the persistent discount to 355p NAV, though more than half of this is the 2031 debenture. Share price stuck for the past four months. I'm happy to hold for the hoped-for benefits of shift to 'the North'. | jonwig
14/12/2016 14:41 | lck of institutional support odd for a propco. R they waiting for the funeral I wonder | chairman20
09/12/2016 08:48 | "No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'!" | jonwig
09/12/2016 08:39 | PS. And the bulletin board is dead! | retsius
07/12/2016 16:59 | Sold at a loss. Still good value but dead x div unless we see some upward movement. Spread would put off NT and stock is difficult to trade above a very small quantity. GLA. | retsius
23/11/2016 11:25 | Anyone going the AGM today? No statement of progress in the press at the moment. R. | retsius
14/11/2016 15:33 | At last,signs of a rise! But will it last? R. | retsius
09/11/2016 17:00 | Mortimer - most of the trades on Friday (a big drop) were AT on the SETS order book; the spread was relatively tight. Today the order book may have been emptied, leaving just a couple of MMs to set quotes. They'll naturally set a wide spread. | jonwig
09/11/2016 11:31 | Unusually large spread this morning: 5.25%. 265p/280p. Obviously in place initially to counter any US election result volatility, but odd to me that it is still the same now the general markets seem to have under reacted. | mortimer7
07/11/2016 10:23 | Saw on their web page they have sold a property in Edinburgh for £2m. This is more than the book value in the accounts. R. | retsius
02/11/2016 09:17 | Two-day drop a bit savage. (It's a bit illiquid, of course.) AGM is 23 Nov. Normally they don't put out a statement other than the votes. | jonwig
15/9/2016 12:25 | LOL - yes, I know ... an icon of Leeds culture, but Mr Ziff clearly doesn't realise that, though he takes rent from him! | jonwig
15/9/2016 09:22 | Jonwig - it is Marco Pierre White | inki |
