Article below again points to the need that the Government/NGC/Country need to get Coho and much more importantly Cascadura on line ASAP.

TXP will receive full support in getting both of these online as soon as red tape and paperwork allows, and also the same will apply to any discovery at Royston in the upcoming drill.

I hope the "all encompassing" EIA being done for Cascadura will allow for getting the initial 60 mmscf/day online soonest and then really boost it up with infill/development drilling which, by then, will not require a new EIA as the initial one covers all future wells - so getting to 200 mmscf/day by end 2022. Same principle to apply to Royston in the event of discovery, a new "all encompassing" Royston EIA will cover full development and all future wells, greatly speeding up the end game of full flow development, whilst slightly delaying the start.

It wouldn't surprise me if negotiations between Shell and NGC on the Coho gas route have been concluded for several weeks now as there was some comments from the minister at a conference a few weeks back now that might have alluded to it.

With this recent push by the energy minister and the negotiations with the big players....do we think they may be pushing for some tax reforms for the oil and gas industry? The tax regime in T&T isn't great from an investment perspective and they are seemingly desperate for more energy. I really hope Shell and BHP are pushing for tax reforms here

Jepp, from 2020, but they will go through the Shell facility.
Reading between the lines tell that the deal is close.
Pipes can be ready with in August, but the integrity testing probably pushes first gas into September. Let us say September 10th

FB,

“ They meant that people always mixed more than they ended up eating, and since once mixed it didn't keep, you had to go out and buy more sooner than you would have done if you'd mixed the right amount in the first place.”

Yes, that’s true of course; although we used the ready made stuff, and if you kept it away from the food on the edge of the plate you could put it back in the jar.

Not that I would ever deprive Colman’s of the extra money.

Anyway, business end of The Open and the British GP starts soon, so I’ve got some beer to get ready.

For me its not the flow rates, as Royston will be on line some time after Cascadura, and by that time they will have loads of cash piling in.

So for me its about seeing what all those zones have inside them and getting a real good picture of the potential.

The well also has to go to 10,000 feet to meet the final license obligation, so they will not be stopping early unless they really really really have to.

OL-4 logs show around 700 feet of gas shows in the primary 7a target. Royston-1 trajectory will hit the same sands but in a better location than OL-4 went into them.

Photos below, simplified ones, of what to expect.

And for some weekend reading, as Royston-1 approaches, lets get to know Royston a bit better.

My comments...... the current "Primary" target of gas is the upper 7a Karamat and Herrera sands. This represents potentially a lot of gas.

BUT

The old Shell well never entered into the deeper 7bc sands, they stopped drilling before going into the 7bc. Royston-1 will endeavor to go into the 7bc and see if that holds gas or oil. Massive upside potential.

BUT THATS NOT ALL

They will, all being well with the 7bc and no high pressure gas (a good thing but it might stop drilling if pressures too high), attempt to go into the Sub-Thrust. Target depth is currently poking into the Sub Thrust to see if that has gas or oil and then a new TD may be set, if they get there, if the Sub Thrust looks promising, they will go deeper as far as the rig can handle safely.

So in summary, there is 1 Primary target and 2 potential upsides.

Primary Target - 700 feet of potential gas pay in the Upper 7a Karamat/Herrera.

Upside potential - Deeper Overthrust 7bc sands currently undrilled and untested. This is big, if the 7bc is gas or oil or wet gas, it makes Royston "super size" as the 7bc is laterally more extensive than the upper 7a. If it comes in, Royston might be a multi-TCF discovery.

Upside potential - Deeper Sub Thrust. Just what is in it ? Nobody knows. Water ? Oil ? Gas ? Wet gas ? Nothing ? Exciting if they can get that deep this time and poke into it.

The current seismic being done at Royston is nothing to do with the Royston-1 well. This new seismic is a license requirement, but also it is being done to choose the development/appraisal wells if Royston-1 is a discovery. It will also help in locating the well location for Krakken-1, the potential billion/s barrel well into the Cretaceous below Royston to be drilled in late 2022.

Royston is close to both gas and oil pipelines, and will be easy to tie production in. If Royston is a success then production expected in 12 to 16 months time - meaning year end 2022 might see 10 mmscf/day from Coho, 200 mmscf/day from Cascadura (plus liquids), 200 mmscf/day from Royston (plus any liquids) and 2000 barrels or more from the South West oilfields. EG.......a very large wall of cash piling into TXP.

Given TXP has proven, independently confirmed, flow tested "RESERVES" worth 150p a share, and you can buy in below that currently, and expose yourself to massive upside from Royston safe in the knowledge the proven reserves are there and not going anywhere.......its compelling. Whoever has placed that 9 million share short on TXP and so made the price so cheap and low....thank you for allowing me and others to buy more well below fair value of reserves.

ROYSTON 🔥

📍Touchstone Exploration is gearing up to tackle Royston-1, our 5th exploration well on the Ortoire Block, this time within the Gajram Forest

🔸️Royston-1 is planned to be drilled to 10,700 feet MD targeting at least the Overthrust Mid Miocene Karamat and Herrera turbidite sands within the WSW-ENE trending, SE verging, broad, gently folded, thrusted and subtly backthrusted CSKY anticline imaged on SBC 2D seismic data

🔸️This anticline sits buried beneath thick sealing deep water clays and successive deltaics within the heart of the Ortoire Syncline, and has remained undisturbed since the Mid Miocene

🔸️The Cretaceous Naparima Hill and Gautier source rock formations are within and have been within the wet gas window since the Pliocene

🔸️As such these geological elements suggests this prospect is ideally poised for a significant gas resource

🔸️In 1965, Shell drilled the Ortoire Lizard-4 (OL-4) well to a TD of 10382 feet, encountering approximately 700 feet of gas bearing 7a Karamat and Herrera sandstones. The well was TD'd before entering the regionally more developed and laterally extensive 7bc Herrera sandstones

🔸️The well will drill the Karamat and Herrera section previously drilled by OL-4 in a structurally favourable position and will be deepened to assess at least the Overthrusted 7bc Herreras

🔸️To minimize environmental impact, Royston-1 will spud on the OL-4 wellsite, and accessed via the resurfaced oilfield road

🔸️The Royston prospect occurs approximately 3km from active natural gas 🔥 and oil 🛢 pipelines which traverse the Ortoire Block

Another statement from the Minister, this time ref to LNG Train 1, but highlighting the support of TXP and the need for more gas for the NGC ASAP.

With his help and support hopefully we will see Coho on line within 8 weeks, and also Cascadura initial production of 60 mmscf/day not too far in the distance and ramping up to 200 mmscf/day by end of 2022 from Cascadura alone.

TXP teasing now, with a tweet about the "deep" at Coora......dont forget, apart from the massive Royston in 2021, decent size Steelhead and decent size Gaubine and of course the ginormous Krakken all to be drilled in 2022, there is then matter of chasing the Herrera big deep prospects on trend with Ortoire down in the South West.

Thats possibly the ONLY thing that would make be accept some fund raising in later 2021, is if they find a massive deep prospect and then propose that one of the four shallow oil well drills in the South West due Q4 2021 becomes a Deep Exploration well as well - so 3 shallow and 1 deep. Which could of course make for a very exciting distraction late 2021......as they say, keep an eye on this "left field" potential.

Happy to sit back and quietly wait all the ingredients are here for a billion pound market cap given 12-24 months.

Long term chart looks to be playing out similar to Q1 Q2 2020.
