Coho news soon?

Agreement with Shell that the deal is going to happen would be good enough for most of us.

If it then took 8 weeks for NGC to lay the pipes etc who would be bothered with that?

So betting against TXP not having some positive news in the very short term might become a very stressful decision?

No doubt the share price is in a down trend.
However it likely will only take a marginally positive RNS to put a spark into the share price and hopefully reverse the trend.
All the basic building blocks are in place, and current value underwritten.
Just awaiting that spark. And PB is working on several.
It/they will come.

Well share price trend is down. I have potential support around 76-78 then 68-69 based on the daily chart. Only time will tell us whether either proves to be significant (i.e. holds), but I don't personally think that either level looks like strong support. For my money, 57p is becoming increasingly likely. The gap would close around 57p (that's being mentioned by some people now), but that gap closure actually co-incides with what I have as a potential rising TL support on the daily from Nov 2019 and Apr 2020. Price only made 2 touches on that which for my money means that one shouldn't be over confident in it being a strong support area. To add to the discussion on gaps, my experience suggests that they become more relevant as price approaches them. What I mean by that is, that downside gaps might not be something to worry too much about when price is rising, but it's probably best to be in tune with them when price is falling.

Once KS pointed out the news I took it as more likely a breakaway/runaway than a common. Lost interest in it as a reliable target then.

I also noted a gap in the Amazon share price at around $2.17. I have my limit orders waiting

Re - WARNING - NEW LOW TARGET SHARE PRICE = 57P - 90% PROBABILITY There is a gap 57p, and as we know there is a 90% probability that a gap will fil. Given the situation here....with an organisation/hedge company scammming the share and shorting to infinity.....that 90% has got to greater, in the range 95%. ===== There is a gap. 1p = between 57p and 58p. Between Friday 17th July and and Monday 20th July. RNS was 7.00 on the Monday = TOUCHSTONE ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT CASCADURA INDEPENDENT RESERVES EVALUATION

Investopedia – “Because common gaps are relatively small, normal and somewhat regular events in the price action of an asset, they tend to provide no real analytical insight. These gaps are observed frequently in assets that experience a break from one day's market close to the next day's open and may be exaggerated by events that occur between Friday and Monday trading over a weekend.”

The 57p gap occurred between the 17th and 20th of July 2020 – ie over a weekend.

Buffy - haven't sold a share. While as frustrated as the next man at the delays in monetising the tremendous discoveries made to date, I retain full confidence in the management to deliver.

Pro, you've just said investors are more mature (better/more successful) people than traders. You also seem to be putting people down for claiming to do well (buy at lows, selling at highs). Are you not being a hypocrite? Didn't you clearly post over on ENQ a little while ago about how your interest there was simply to trade it for repeated 20% profits (you were in fact deriding other posters who were not happy with their investment there). I have to say I found your post above to be disingenous and confusing.
I would postulate that some investors do very well and that they do well because they understand their investments and can therefore tolerate some market volatility. Other investors do less well and I would postulate that the reason they do less well is that they do not understand their investments well (possibly becaus they followed the views of others) and therefore can't tolerate the same sort of volatility. I'd say that it's the same with trading. If you really understand your trades, then you know why you entered at a certain level, what your expectations were and where you plan to close and why. If you don't understand your trades (or investments) and don't have a clear rational plan, volatility will probably have you entering at the wrong time, seeing a trade move against you and closing at a loss frequently. I think investing and trading are very similar and success at either is based on very similar premises. The most important is, you understand your positions and don't follow the views of others unless you understand them very clearly. The biggest difference in my view is 'timeframe' and my experience of reading these boards suggests that actually not many people have clear time frames in mind.

“Last 3 wells have not reached total depth....etc, etc.“

2 wells at Cascadara didn’t reach TD due to enormous gas pressure and subsequently tested at around 5K boepd each.

I asked PB whether he is confident of reaching TD at Royston given it’s the deepest well yet. He responded that if we can’t reach TD due to the pressure like at casca that will be a good problem to have because we will have hit the jackpot in a cascadara type gas zone.

Talk about the TXP SP…..from the person who mentioned PTAL

==============

It was a comparrison......between the drilling capabilities of PTAL and TXP....which I think is a valid one.

PTAL obviously have a drilling engineer who knows what he is doing....while TXP dont.

Last 3 wells have not reached total depth....etc, etc.

A lot HOPE has been placed on the Royston drill by the rapmers here who are not interested in the share price .....but what are the chances of their drilling engineer being able to get to TD.....without damaging the well bore.

Not good.

26 posts (and counting) alone from 11% since the start of the weekend (and many last week) mentioning the share price.

For someone who has not been able to place a short and has admittedly sold all of their TXP shares - this is somewhat strange behaviour - what is to gain from the incessant doom mongering? I doubt this is posting is of an altruistic behaviour, so?

I look forward to the day claims like this are bought to court for their defamatory nature. This one probably would if 11% had any type of reputation but likely he's trading with a five figure sum
