20/6/2021 14:35 | Who are these 'scammers'? I am aware that there is currently a sizeable short position in TXP, do we know there is a concerted group orchestrating this drop, and not just regular PIs selling out of impatience? | king suarez
20/6/2021 14:32 | spawny10020 Jun '21 - 10:53 - 20406 of 20420 0 1 0 Is a shorter who wants the price to go down any more biased than a leveraged long who wants the price to go up worraps? ======== Good post spawny......nail on head....unforunatly you are only allowed to put biased posts on this Bill Board that says this a great share. | 11_percent
20/6/2021 14:25 | I've been open with those trades too SL. Wtf is your problem? Yes I lost a little on my recent trade here. You're one of the bitter types bull was referring to. | spawny100
20/6/2021 14:10 | How was your recent buy and sell in Txp?Or what about the time you sold alot at 50p just before it went upto 100p.We're all the same, we get some trades right, some wrong. It's the insecure who have to justify it on here. Or as my gran used to call them, a big girls blouse. | stockport loser
20/6/2021 13:41 | Thebull just to highlight that you're wrong about me posting to say 'I told you so'. Cast your mind back to 26/03 when I highlighted the fact that they didn't include Chinook in their 2021 hookup plans whereas it was mentioned in the rns on 05/03. I pointed out that I believed that this was clearly not a simple omission. You and others ridiculed me for saying this. I haven't been rubbing your nose in that whilst I could have been doing so. | spawny100
20/6/2021 13:26 | spawny100, that depends on how they express their bias! Extreme ramping or de-ramping to encourage others to follow their path is not helpful at all. I don't think I fall into either camp. Markets have become a dirty playground as far as I'm concerned, so many people up to no good, it gets quite sickening at times. | worraps
20/6/2021 13:12 | Thanks Pro, that reads across as quite promising for TXP in general. | king suarez
20/6/2021 13:01 | Coho news soon ? ........Later in the conference, Touchstone CEO, Paul Baay provided confirmation of Minister Young’s approach, when he thanked him for clearing some of the barriers that were holding back the small, but fast-to-deliver, onshore Coho gas field.......... . | pro_s2009
20/6/2021 12:28 | I’m still holding and bought more on Friday. I know this is not a normal summer, for several reasons including COVID,an anti oil bias and a Biden government, nevertheless I am optimistic that come September and St Leger’s Day the shorts will have reduced and we will be rapidly heading northwards. Just a matter of being patient which is what investing is all about. | chessman2
20/6/2021 11:18 | Tesla is trading at $600billion and a P/E well in excess of 1000 - that's some Jam tomorrow yet people keep buying. The stock market is ALWAYS about jam tomorrow whether you are a minnow like TXP or a giant like Apple. Just so happens our jam is further away than many first anticipated. Add in the fact that there are so many opportunities in today's markets that small caps like this in an unloved industry just are not getting much attention. Once we increase our revenue 10 fold the sheep will follow | thebull8
20/6/2021 11:16 | Thanks KS. Surprised it was such a small gap then. | bad gateway
20/6/2021 11:12 | That gap looks to be around the RNS release of the Cascadura independent reserves evaluation. The one that informed us we were sitting on mid-case over $500m NPV based on Cascadura 1 ONLY, and only requiring about $10-15m development cost to unlock... | king suarez
20/6/2021 11:03 | re the chart see there's a gap below at the 57p mark from July last year. Was it on big news or just a mark up on the day? | bad gateway
20/6/2021 10:53 | Is a shorter who wants the price to go down any more biased than a leveraged long who wants the price to go up worraps? | spawny100
20/6/2021 10:40 | 11_percent.....but if you are shorting as you say you are, that's just what you want to happen isn't it? You need the price down ready to buy them back. So, I would say that your prediction is somewhat biased. | worraps
20/6/2021 09:59 | Not true at all thebull. I'm not bitter nor do I take pleasure in seeing anyone lose money. I don't post to say 'I told you so'. Perhaps that's your interpretation. I posted red flags several months ago but got such a barrage of snide that I don't tend to bother any more. This board in the old days used to be a great and pleasant board a couple of years back. There are clearly some more unsavoury types recently who post to wind up others and revel in others losing money, but don't lump everyone with a current negative take on TXP together. | spawny100
20/6/2021 09:52 | The problem with the negative comments is they do not come from a place of any fundamentals. Spawny just posts 'I told you so' Linton tries very poorly to goad Pro and 11% provide updates using TA that he didn't produce and most likely doesn't understand. A closer look into their history provides clues to their bitterness and negativity. Funny how they only pop up when there has been a downturn in the share price If you want some real research please go and read by DCF model that i posted a few months back. This is the same model used by analysts to value commodity stocks and a sector in which I have previously worked in. From memory the share price would be around £4-£4.50 based on 200MMCF per day. | thebull8
20/6/2021 09:47 | Posters who write “I am a long term holder so a 50% drop in the share price doesn’t bother me”, I’m afraid ring alarm bells for me these days. Yes, I agree that TXP has exciting prospects over the next few years, but for the most part they have yet to be developed. And as we have experienced lately, words and potential and expectation haven’t got very far. How can anyone genuinely not feel downhearted at seeing their investment drop by over 50% in such a short space of time? How long will it take to even get back to where we were? If it’s going to take a year to do that, are people really fools to invest elsewhere in the meantime? Or are they sensible? I can’t bear to sell my holding at such a reduced price, so I’m not sure whether that makes me a fool or sensible. Weird times! | worraps
20/6/2021 09:45 | TGM - I also agree with the part about "not hearing the negatives". My point was that there are ways to express the negative and if you compare the posting styles gopbg's style is way better and less antagonistic than 11_precent's. I can do without that style but still hear the sensible posters express their doubts. Spawny100 is welcome to share his doubts if he doesn't wind everyone up in the process and have an unpleasant posting style. | lauders
20/6/2021 09:37 | Completely agree Spawny. I'm sitting on a decent sized paper loss on TXP and I personally hope that the share price doesn't slide any further. But if people are predicting further decreases and are providing some justification for it (breaching of a support line) then I'd personally like to hear that opinion. I've also noted the snide remarks and attempted censoring for anyone posting sceptical queries, or even simply not being positive enough in statements made... | the_gold_mine |
