I know there was previously some talk of TXP being taken out prior to Royston.
I guess Chinook and Cascadura deep have taken longer than expected to test (plus we haven't fully got to the bottom of either of those) but do people still see TXP being taken out and if so when?

Surely we at least get to drill Royston now.. :)

“The big risk is apparently the seals given hydrocarbons have been found.“

I thought they were onshore drills. :^}

Wait for the next windfall from Royston/Steelhead and Kraken......the next 3 drills all being well.....

........There is no announced deep water drilling in Trinidad following the failure of the BHP Broadside well to forecast commercial quantities. But there is renewed activity onshore Trinidad where Canadian oil and gas company Touchstone Exploration experienced a windfall in 2020 as a result of its drilling and the signing of a five-year supply deal last December with the National Gas Company worth between US$1.6 and US$2.2 billion. .............

The big risk is apparently the seals given hydrocarbons have been found.

Assuming they find commercial hydrocarbons are those necessary individual seals intact is the big question that only the drill can answer.

Looks like the IG malaise has spread to Spreadex on the sell side. Once it’s done this should be ready to roll as the “Seals here won’t be leaky either.”

Because you come onto the TXP board and sprout nothing but nonsense Suppose you bought right at the bottom too huh. Such a good little investor. I'm still 400% up here with an investment of £60k ;-)

They are drilling from the same pad that Shell drilled from. There is always risk but so minimum I feel

“ I see Royston as high reward/low risk due to the previously discovered 900ft gas column drilled in the 50's.”

Royston maybe, but not necessarily the first well drilled. Things can go wrong. High pressures, bit stuck, formation damage etc. Over to you Spangle, rip me to shreds.. :^}.

That was the time period since the person concerned took the proverbial.

I see Royston as high reward/low risk due to the previously discovered 900ft gas column drilled in the 50's. Hopefully a case of "how much more" and how many BOEPD on testing.. Anything from now should be value adding...

I dont see it as a battle between bulls and bears.

More like we have reached a stage where you need a brain to work out the future. A lot of people simply look at the share price and say.....risen a lot, not going to rise anymore, sell. And put it into a high risk/high reward punt.

Others will look in more detail, see the cash flow projections, see the upside from more drilling and work out this is cheap and going up a lot more in the coming 24 months as a "relatively" low risk/high reward stock.

The stagnation will see the stock moved from short term hands to long term hands and then the next move up should be significant and stick - provided the news is of course good.

It would be really advantageous if we were to go up from here - based on the chart.Should recover quickly if we can break this stalemate between bulls and bears.

Will be interesting if Paul updates in the Webinar if they can spud Royston in April.

I was expecting May, but some people are talking of April spud.

Well, I am looking forward to next week.

Paul has said Chinook is "World Class".

Paul has said Cascadura Deep is "the Best well drilled so far".

As he is normally conservative I am expecting very very good results of flow testing, for sure Casca Deep should be mind blowing........I am guessing we will see the "constrained by the limits of the test equipment" line again........ it will just be so good.

You live and die by the sword........Paul has set high expectations for flow test results...........I jolly well hope be delivers and delivers strongly.

Yes I spoke to Spreadex about selling positions across to them and they advised TXP is only available to close They then confirmed they hedge their positions with IG so would be subject to the margin increases to and thus I would imagine closing out their customers with positions in TXPThis makes interesting reading https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/txp/ownershipNo evidence that the big funds have been selling. Also looks like we've been added to a couple of ETF trackers

Someone sold off 35K this morning at just over 148p (25K then 5K and 5K).

Bit more of the IG closing process methinks.........still got a month before TXP is no longer under any influence of IG spread betters. No new positions, however until March rollover date there will be still be positions closed, be they long or short.

Anyone who's ever been in a share purchase plan will know that you buy certain amounts on a certain date that is fixed. Nothing doing here.
