TXP got their drone permit before Christmas, and there have been indications that a lot of activities will be going on post Christmas. So far we have not seen any drone footage ,this would normally indicate the usual delays. However, we can still hope for both drone footage (showing progress) and an operational update kicking off the multi year drilling campaign, next week. There are also indications that we will learn which licenses/blocks has been bid on by which companies. All in all, next week could turn out to be quite eventful. (or not...)

Rabblr here...guys, I am not a fake..just frustrated by abbreviations I am not up to speed on as in " CPR ".....wish now that I hadn't asked the question quite frankly,,,
I thought CPR was in reference to another Company that drilled a duster in North Africa I think, that I caught a glimpse of the News-line yesterday.
Thanks Johnoxxx for explaining the Why, we are going back to Royston..... More patience is warranted, and Canada seems strong these few minutes following Opening.

Thanks Johnoxxx for that remarkable information which is one of the reasons why the TXP share price is motoring.

The share price should continue heading northwards for some time yet. It certainly looks like holders will have an enjoyable several months watching their portfolio values increase!

Why spend more cash on what? Royston intermediate produced well on the first test, over 500bpd, with high oil cuts. Which they struggled to shut in when moving up to flow test the section higher up. The drill was stopped in the intermediate section and was still in pay. We will see how much more pay when they drill it via the sidetrack. Why wouldn’t they spend money and drill the well deeper? There’s also the subthrust that’s yet to be drilled, which they will potentially poke into on the side track.

The Royston CPR had very low recoverability as compared to overall reserves - that is my key concern.

UK price up to Canada price now.....we should be at around 100p into February, so plenty of upside ahead.

Position building now ongoing as people get their fill before Royston and Cascadura happen.

Punters buy and sell for different reasons. Each has different objectives related to short, medium and long term objectives. The share price has put on several pence in short order, and it is quite possible that some sellers are happy with a quick profit, exit from risk and the cash returned to the sidelines. Something that I have often done with a volatile share in the past, but not with Txp.
It is what it is, no point in speculating.
As has been pointed out, the timetable is rolling on and the news flow will begin soon enough, but for three or for months. We hope for positive outcomes and PB's "wall of cash" finally materialises.
We can only wait on the sidelines.

Royston should spud by February and Cascadura should be online by April. 8.5% dilution for rapid progress of significant projects, not to keep the lights on.150p target for me this year.
