Good results I thought though the outlook still understandably hazy. Robust cash position through lockdown is encouraging. Noted the sale of 10 shares, that'll be likky out, what with the schools going back and all ;)

Not a holder yet but to me it read as a weak profit warning (H2 weaker and time required for markets to recover) together with the H1 cash inflow benefits reversing in H2 I suspect the y/e cash balance will be closer to £1m. Just my view from the outside, still compelling value but maybe it will take longer to monetise.

In the circumstances the results were pretty good. Why the share price was marked down, I have no idea, but have bought another 10k.

Market has priced them for failure. Unlikely to happen with that cash pile. Top up time coming.

These were excellent results or hadn't people noticed a global pandemic just outside their window.

70% of business to "essential" services.

Very large cash pile.

Orders still coming in and sustaining the order book.

If they can produce results like these in times like this then I am perfectly happy with my investment here and confident that they will do even better in the comparatively near term.

The company is set fair for the future, particularly as IM states:

"Touchstar is well positioned, the events in 2020 have only accelerated the trend to digitalise business and move to an e-commerce model. Our customers typically facilitate the completion of on-line transactions, using Touchstar to enable data to be captured, moved and used - this is potentially a valuable place to be situated."

TST have a mere £3m EV (£4.5m m/cap less £1.5m cash), so if H2 is weaker then TST may achieve say a £200k PAT for the year? Perhaps rising very nicely next year, with the economy recovering, to nearer £400k-£500k PAT, which would make the current m/cap look very cheap.

Let's see what today's action brings.

The good news is 1.5 mill cash and 139k profit(the latter was below what I expected but cash over 50% more. ). Outlook I think in our heart of hearts knew it was going to be as stated so no surprises there. I guess its a case of wait and see, which is inevitable in these times.

One final point, is the safety net. What I mean by this is that even if results are good which I suspect they are, the outlook will be the driver for the share price So if that is not what the market wants to hear, then expect it to be hit, which leaves us with a mrk cap extremely low as I believe it is now. We then maybe taken private or be taken out as I doubt many could resist a company with what can only be described as brilliant products and a CEO who's track record is second to none.

I suspect profit of 300k plus and agree with around 1mill in the bank. However, I doubt we will get any sort of guidance going forward and if my memory serves me right, ceo said would be happy to be breakeven at year end.

With results on the 10th, i will personally be happy with:

Profit of around 150k to 200k following last year's H1 loss of 300k. This will be quite achievement, considering C19 crisis.
Healthy cash balance (anything around £1 million will be very good)
OK outlook for H2 due to C19
Overall profitable outcome for FY20
Some estimate of FY21 numbers

Just wondering what others thoughts are.

No firm buy quotes available online. 4 trading days to results. I added a few myself today.

Cannot see the school dropouts market makers dropping it further. I bought loads just north of 55.
