One can sell 25k on line @39p and yet can not buy 500 with firm quote. Bizarre

Well I guess it's like fine tuning an engine. I have pointed out two things, one I'm not happy with and one that may or may not need to be addressed. As far as my bromance with Jk goes, if being honest and always helpful is a bad trait, then so be it. Yes he stumbled along and yes history tells us in the end he achieved not a great deal. However, getting IM on board my we'll have proven a master stroke and his legacy.

Well my take on things are obviously that things are very good at present and this is why over the last few months I have accumulated shares at every opportunity. With regards to MH I do feel he should be buying and his reluctance to do so does not sit well. Unlike yourself and many others I sold up some time ago and this has proven to have been the right thing to have done. TST products seem to be top end and given that Brexit has been sorted there can not be anymore excuses for not at the very least meet their numbers for the year. I will add again as long as the share price does not shoot higher in the near term. Finally, my take is that a 3mill mrk cap at present is ludicrous given the start to the year and with prospects of further orders rolling in what is normally the more quieter 1st half.Good luck all and happy new year.

My references to sales staff is purely on the basis the products are so good they should almost be selling themselves. Yes things have picked up and I for one think this will be the year in which the companies fortunes and ours changes for the best. With regards to share purchases from others, other than Ian. It probably is the one red flag that the likes of MH fail to purchase at these depressed levels, but Ian is always happy to dig deep as his last purchase proved. Finally are there any Techinvest subscribers on here who know if they follow TST these days.

Well I don't think there can be any doubt that things are going well here. With regards to the concerns raised here over the sales team I am not in a position to comment on individuals but they would seem to be doing a very good job. With regards to management share purchases: it is not a good idea for ANY employee to load up with company shares as it is much more sensible to spread any risk. It is fine for a rich, major shareholder/owner to buy as many as they like but not a paid employee (even if they earn £200k). ( In almost every company I've invested in the FD is always the last to buy shares as they appreciate the risk to their personal finances.) Anyway, back to Touchstar, things are looking very good and given their business model a very rapid increase is certainly on the cards.

NT to buy online. This is normally followed by a drop in share price. Go figure out.

Code 500 issued. Implies they will gap it down. 1. 100 - I need Shares. 2. 200 - I need Shares badly but do not take the stock down. 3. 300 - Take (or I am taking) the stock down at least 30% so I can load shares. 4. 400 - Keep trading it sideways. 5. 500 - Gap the stock. Gap can be up or down, depending on direction of 500 signal.

Could this be the year when TST finally rewards it's patient investors. An update on their web site mentions the 7 NEW customer wins pre end of year for the rugged computing division. I believe now Brexit is done perhaps the usual weaker beginning of the year may prove to be a lot stronger. Seriously looks as if the main man has the products and hopefully the staff to implement, but most of all to sell it. It has been the one thing that holds many good companies back with regards to how much some put into getting the right sales staff. You can have the best products but if you ain't got the right men pushing it you end up losing out. So happy new year folks and let's hope it's one to remember. C.

I won't be surprised if another factor why we constantly miss the target is due to Mark Hardy hardly holding any shares. He has been around for ages and looking at the revenue profile, we could argue he has become complacent. A lot of us think that with revenues of £7million and nearly breaking even for 2020, this is severely undervalued. Ian agrees as shown by his purchases and holding 8% of the comoany. How come we don't see Mark showing the same level of interest in acquiring shares? He is on around £200k anyways. Noone should be forced to buy shares but Mark's holdings remain a red flag to me. Maybe, it is time that a replacement is sought for him.

WH Ireland's update a few days ago forecasts (with "prudent assumptions") breakeven for the coming year (2020), on £7.2m revenues and a tiny £200k net debt. It concludes: "WHI view: Whilst delays to orders and stock availability have impacted the outturn for FY 2019E, it does mean the group will have a strong start to FY 2020E with the order book more than trebling and we would therefore regard our revised FY 2020E numbers as conservative. Touchstar is now two years into its turnaround strategy and whilst this morning's news is disappointing, we believe the outlook for FY 2020E is more positive. We would also note that with revenues of over £7m and an EV of ~£3m, this remains an exceptionally low rating for a technology stock."

I have just read an update on the web site about pod star regarding the VJ Technology contract. Literary sounds as if it could sell itself after reading through the news. One would have to say that if this is the case then maybe Ian needs to up his sales force or get the ones there to step up a bit. With Brexit now sorted and the 800k in the bank for the start of 2020 it just might be our year.

Good to see the CEO buying another £25,000 of shares: Https://www.investegate.co.uk/touchstar-plc--tst-/rns/director-pdmr-shareholding/201912200912236351X/ Liquidity is to tight that any reasonable buying is usually rewarded with a decent rise (and the other way of course).
