i think some were expecting RNS this morning

Anyway there will be an RNS before plugging ops starts....they always RNS the well outcome/resultsto avoid any lesks....and say the well will now be plugged and abandoned. So no news means they are still logging im my view!

It is important to remember too as we focus on this drill that Eco is not a one trick pony. This is one of four catalysts that could propel the share price into triple digits. Any weakness now is probably a good buying opportunity.

Itinvestor - in case you missed it in the RNS"Both the vertical well and the sidetrack optional well will be logged and then plugged back to surface, the well will be sealed, plugged and the casing cut off below surface. No equipment will remain on the sea floor."

Depends on logging.........logging a dry hole is quick. Logging some oil or gas pay takes time, they need samples and would run a very extensive logging suite. They need as much data as possible about any potential pay and its implications for the license and the sidetrack potential.

If it were a dry hole they would do very simple basic logs and P&A asap.

Thats imo.

They have reached TD by now and therefore if it had been a dud we would have been told by now. So, to my way of thinking they are working out what they have got with possible plans for sidetrack.

I think the price action today will be a good guide. It's looking like a down day on the markets overall so perhaps it was not the best day to release news anyway.
The wait goes on.

No...we are now into the window of news.....could be anytime this week, or even next...but from today onwards we are into "anytime" for news.

The well is going to be Plugged and Abandoned regardless, this is being drilled as pure exploration and not as a future producer.

It will either be P&A now, and no sidetrack.

or they will sidetrack into Pelargonium and then P&A.

We have in effect 3 primary targets.

Primary target 1 is Namaqualand

Primary target 2 is Gazania

and if they sidetrack then target 3 is Pelargonium.

Each of them can be commercial on their own as a discovery.

The first 2 targets are around 300 million barrels recoverable if good.

All 3 targets are around 500 million barrels recoverable if good.

Just keep the fingers crossed we have hit some oil........and not dusty duster.

I think because there has not been a plugged and abandoned rns yet gives hope of a good find.

I don't believe there has been any leak, and the share price finally creeping to just over 40p on average volumes hardly suggests otherwise.
