I haven’t got an issue with that if it keeps good staff at the company, encourages them to make profits and issue dividends. Providing they can’t sell them a day after they buy them but over a period of time.

TXP is the cheapest of the T & T oilers that is for sure.

The mystery is how other investors in CERP, TRIN and RRL cannot see that.

Plus $500k for such a small amount of reserves/production (11 bopd/56k P2) will take another chunk out of the loan by that time.

They have 5 other properties ranging from 6, 14, 24, 37 & 84 bopd with a total of 1.1 mmbo P2 which appear to be seen as non core.

Post 1011 - The $15m loan runs to 31st Oct 2021 (3.5 years). Interest is compounded annually and they start to pay it down from Jan 1 2019 when they pay $810k/quarter. At the end of the term under that payment schedule there should roughly be $11.5m to pay at 31/10/21.

Agreed it makes commercial sense as they are only producing 11 bopd and can concentrate on East Brighton and Ortoire

Yes sensible because it does not appear to be in compay's plans so best get rid..not really going to feel any monetary benefit to any great degree.

TXP operations page re Icacos.

Production 11 bopd. 58,000 bls P2.

Indicated cost by CERP is $500K minimum means sales price of $8.62/b and a flowing per barrel price of $45,454.

Cuurent P2 = 18.58 mmbls and last production of 1654 bopd.

If you use flowing bl price on last production figure or P2/b price = $75m - $160m range.

Hopefully within range of 2k bopd and an ongoing significant drill programme. Another 1300 bopd then to close the flowing barrel price and P2 value at the $160m level ? Plus a further possible lift in P2 by year end from this years work ?

M/cap $23m(us)@ 12.5p

Looks like CERP were under pressure to give the market news about an acquisition before it has been signed.

TXP waiting until it has been signed on the dotted line.

TXP selling its 50% interest in the Icacos field for minimum $500k to CERP (11 bopd).

The consideration for the transaction is USD$500,000 (the "Minimum Payment") for Primera's current net 11 bopd. However, LTL will not pay any upfront consideration for the purchase but will pay the consideration over time until 1 January 2021 through Primera receiving the net revenue it would have received had it retained its interest. Primera will also receive, in the event of increased production, 25% of any net revenue above the current baseline. Should these cumulative payments not exceed the Minimum Payment, LTL will pay the difference between the amount received and the Minimum Payment. LTL shall be entitled to 100% of all revenue from Icacos from 1 January 2021.

Not essential but welcome

Interesting report on Bloomberg with falling OPEC output, especially in Trinidad neighbour Venezuela.

Could possibly see more than $80 a barrel by end of the year. Bad news for filling the car up, might have to start walking, but good news for our shares, hopefully.

Highly encouraging to the investment case that Brent at $72.66 is continuing to make new 4 year highs on an almost daily basis.
