Looks like a bit of loose placing stock needs to find a home then maybe catch up with the Canucks.

I think they are averaging around 2.5 wells a month over 4 months from memory.

I think the wells take around 1 - 2 weeks so they will not have three drilled by the end of January.

They should have, or very soon, be spudding the first well..three locations expected to be completed by end of Jan.

This is the place to be for oil as far as I'm concerned.I've been selling TRIN last week a bit to add here. I prefer onshore drilling, just look what happened SQZ over the weekend, TRIN has offshore wells which is a different ball game. I do like TRIN, but TXP is geared to increase production much faster this year IMHO.I see TXP in Canada finished on a high.

che7win thanks for the article.

Joined North Energy this morning by averaging up a little with a further 82K @12.91p. Amazing value considering a 10 well continuous programme of development drilling is now underway using two drill rigs.

Encouraging to see high conviction Institutional Investors like North Energy with long, hands on operational, technical and financial experience of the industry elect to continue averaging up at prices nearly 50% above their initial 5% position bought on the open market last August. I estimate their 10.1% holding now has an average of circa 9.9p.

Not surprised to see North Energy Capital still in accumulate mode.

ross, I'm surprised by the gulf between Canadian prices and UK, I thought there was more arbitrage that occurred in these situations.
