31/5/2019 07:56 | Nobby - As the founder of Tesco said -"Turnover is vanity - profit is sanity" - This could well go the same route as companies such as Interserve - Carillion and other outsourcing cripples - Especially if Corbyn gets in - but if he does then we are all fu*ked - and up the Orinoco! | pugugly
31/5/2019 07:55 | Can't see ANYTHING about the word PROFIT in the RNS only this -- Greenbrook Healthcare has experienced substantial revenue growth in recent years with revenue growing from GBP23.8 million in the financial year ended 31 March 2016 to GBP33.4 million in the year ended 31 March 2018 (equivalent to 40.1 per cent. growth over the two financial years). Has anyone else seen profit details in the RNS made by greenbrook ? Surely they must give them in order to raise the money needed | buywell3
31/5/2019 07:48 | The note on the Greenbrook accounts states that they incurred professional fees in relation to a possible sale of the group (as well as costs for 2 discontinued contracts) and that "Excluding the impact of these items would result in a normalised revenue of £32.15 million and a profit after tax of £1.07 million for the year ended 31 March 2018." So Greenbrook has been looking to sell for over a year? | 1gw
31/5/2019 07:46 | Superb news imho. Greenbrook turnover (unaudited) to March 2019 and pbt of 1.3 million on turnover of almost 40 million, despite a million spend on overheads for growth. I think we are getting them for a more than fair price. Looks like I'll be holding for a while yet, well done Bob! | microscope
31/5/2019 07:46 | Great deal imho but its going to take a while for the shares to pick up, the open offer will ensure there are plenty of sellers. None the less this is now worth 20p. | czar
31/5/2019 07:44 | >> pug What do you think a profitable growing company turning over £125 million should be valued at? | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:38 | >> pug Very confident I will ultimately make a profit here like I did on TYR (£75k)! | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:36 | >> 1gw Half empty as usual. All over bar the shouting (mostly from you) IMHO. Go on say that it looks like a good deal😜 | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:35 | "Pelion on Ossa" Yet another attempt to grow via purchase - Prediction - Apart from having destroyed previous investors capital - this will (imo) fail to give any relief and may well produce further toxic deletions - Sorry Nobby for your losses - This may well go the same way as TYR when they were 20p !!!! Just depends when one bought/buys !! Bob Holt has (imo) for me anyway totally destroyed his reputation of builiding value for shareholders. | pugugly
31/5/2019 07:33 | Yes, well done on the placing price Nobby. I have to say I'm surprised they think they can get it away at that, but I suppose they must have indications that the demand is there. It will be interesting to see where it trades today. They want to make the Greenbrook CEO an Executive Director to "support Wendy". I am surprised also that they are not formally stating that he will be running the show, but maybe that will come later. GM on the 19th should be worth attending. I wonder how confident they are of the vote passing? | 1gw
31/5/2019 07:26 | So at the end of this we will have a profitable business turning over £120 million plus! This could easily be valued at £50 million. | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:23 | Oh and I was right with my prediction of 10p! | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:20 | On first reading what a great price for buying the company. No cash with the deal though. Transformative acquisition IMHO! | nobbygnome
31/5/2019 07:16 | All still in bed? | jonc
27/5/2019 19:07 | NHS 111 prevents over 12m unnecessary A&E visits and 3 million unnecessary 999 calls. NHS 111 saves over 12 million unnecessary A&E visits "The NHS 111 urgent care advice line has helped to prevent more than 12 million unnecessary A&E visits, recent figures from NHS England reveal." "Moreover, 16 percent of them would have phoned for an ambulance, representing three million 999 calls that could have resulted in unnecessary ambulance call outs, it added." | sikhthetech
22/5/2019 10:00 | grahamwales 2 laps of Rutland water today and Rutland Health and Social Care isn't as good as they say | football
22/5/2019 08:14 | Something Greenbrook are keen on eradicating. | grahamwales
21/5/2019 12:34 | Well let’s hope they do a more detailed DD than they did on Vocare. Not as big a task as contracts are established and lower revenue. | grahamwales
21/5/2019 11:42 | I think, if they do proceed suspension will be around a month...DD, produce Admissions Doc and org meeting.. Unlike Vocare, where it was around 10 weeks, these talks are at an Advanced stage. With Vocare, I think they had to take into account the CQC ratings, which needed improving when negotiating the price down.. | sikhthetech
21/5/2019 10:23 | Thoughts..... When the Vocare suspension occurred in July 2017 the target Vocare wasn't mentioned.... Our target Greenbrook is mentioned ...leads me to believe this suspension could be a lot shorter than 10 weeks .... We know it takes 2 weeks to call a meeting so that has to be factored in... | porky8
21/5/2019 09:36 | Bob can't wait that long for he's payday! He's got another trip booked to Africa and probably wants to buy somewhere in the sun and forget about the poor shareholders here | football |
