iii posters seem to have stumbled upon a new website being created for flybrid

see

www.flywheelhybrid.co.uk

maybe something about to be released.

maybe everything else sold off and we are to be left with flywheel.

But cars are such a cash cow for government, all that luverly tax on fuel, bit inconvenient that it's also killing the milch cows. If things go electric on a major scale they will have to devise ways to tax them, and pink dye won't work with KW-hrs.

“This is a public health issue and not a political issue. Urgent action is required to protect people’s health from the illegal and poisonous air that we are forced to breathe in the UK.

“This is a matter for the court to decide once the government has made its arguments because it is the government which has not met, and instead seeks to extend, the court’s deadline for the clean air plan, to clean up our air.”

Alchemy (13629) "Ah yes ... that is what I thought I'd typed. It was certainly what I thought. Asymptotic."

I've been having trouble with ADVFN's spell checker lately. Instead of underlining things it doesn't like, it now seems to actively "correct" them. I'm sure I typed "lately" and I saw "latterly" when I loitered later for a look.

We are grateful that "asymptotic" didn't come out as something medical, like "asymptomatic" or "myopic ass".

Alchemy (13598) "I've lost the electronic vehicle thread."

I think I've just lost the thread, period. Or maybe I've lost the plot. Can anyone help?

Wake up and smell the nitrous oxide! Trk flavour of the month - sentiment returning.for most of us. However, for those that have Muchos Wonga---------------------------------The extent of the air pollution crisis nationally is exposed in the data which shows 59% of the population are living in towns and cities where nitrogen dioxide (NO2) pollution breaches the lawful level of 40 microgrammes per cubic metre of air.

Yes I assumed it was just a slip of the pen or brain, but I thought it might save the non-mathematicians a bit of head-scratching.

Poor old trk. It seems like a lifetime this has been going on. I'm getting to the "put it out of its misery and give whatever's left to the long-suffering shareholders before it all gets eaten up by overheads" stage...

Alch - If you're looking for changes, might I suggest you also change 'asymmetric' to 'asymptotic' and make it two in a week? ;¬)

asymptote: A line which approaches nearer and nearer to a given curve, but does not meet it within a finite distance.

Maybe, maybe not...we'll see. One thing for sure ( my rhetoric) the cost of electricity will become asymmetric to zero.

There is a lot of attention on electric vehicles and hybrid powertrains, however internal combustion engines (ICE) continue to be the solution for nearly all future powertrain applications.

Industry experts estimate that 96 percent of the light vehicles produced in 2030 will have improved ICEs, including various forms of hybrid vehicles, while only 4 percent of vehicles will be powered solely by battery electric and fuel cell electric drivetrains. It is worth noting that there will be more ICE powertrains produced in 2030 than today even if BEV production is significantly higher than forecast. Additionally, ICEs in 2030 are expected to have 20-30 percent more regulatory content than today as emissions requirements become more stringent.

The coal is industry folded with 2000 years of the stuff in the U.K. Untouched underground. Oil , peak oil, will not happen ever but already if you go out for tender for energy then PV wins on price. Lefrene's point about EV 's using non-green sources will be less forceful as time progresses.Even if the harm is done in the Trent Valley rather than Leeds' Headrow, Manchester Piccadilly or Oxford street, EVs will help the NOx levels. But actually we are heading to green both sides. But more importantly economic both sides. Read "Switch"....''tis only £8 odd.

Probably everyone is just avoiding using TRK in the hope that they can buy the technology cheap when TRK goes bust.

That's the result of never having developed its own products and instead going to the competition to get sales.

How stupid can you get?

Just one deal...or exclusive or strategic investment and its probably a game changer here (at these share price levels).. products/tech is there and interest with it to.

Interesting play here.

To give an idea of how long this company has been going without turning over any significant money I used to be a shareholder here back in my twenties. I am now nearly 45.

However, I have recently had a small punt at 1p as after spending well over £100m on their tech there has to be at least a fair chance that they have come up with something worth more than £5m to someone and if it goes broke it won't hurt me too much.
