As it has done this morning on the positive trading update.....especially encouraging is the LFL growth over the past eight weeks. Seriously undervalued and looking set to recover to its previous highs imho.

Looks like things are on the up. The company just had its best ever week sales wise. I’d be reported for inside knowledge by putting the exact figure but things are definitely looking rosy here imho. The share price will move back to £1+ on their next trading update and then we’ll see momentum increase.

The punters are not spending on tiles then ...not sure why that is.?
Competitive market/people spending less on home improvements?

Think that's a bit harsh. Quality management and quality company.

Hard to really judge the company on the basis of one or two stores. Even if you believe Cudmore's perennial optimism and £2 targets ( No that was last year) , that is a worrying looking chart, especially when you consider the FTSE is not that far off an ATH.
I will hold and hope .....

I think it depends on the location of the stores. About 3/4 weeks ago I was in our local store at Bishops Stortford, where there is tons of new builds, the guys in the shop told me they were easily going to hit their targets or indeed exceed and so were a couple of other outlets nearby. Maybe if I went back to visit my roots in Bolton Lancs or some other places where the local economies are less resilient, there would be a different story. At the moment I’m waiting for further falls in the share price before buying again.

Apparently sales have picked up and stores are hitting budgets this quarter. They won’t stay this cheap for long. Back to £1+ on next trading update imho

Lets hope so. They will be into weaker comparatives soon on the LFL sales front. Q1 last year was OK, but after that comparatives will be less challenging. They are into a sticky patch, but this is a quality company and so will bounce back at some point. They have hinted on the commercial business side and so this could well boost volumes next year which would really help as I guess the cost base will be kept under control. Can still see it being weak for a while and may well add more.

A solid business and like most retailers not doing well at the mo. The difference here is the management team that run this ship know what they are doing. Big commercial deals in the pipeline that the average shareholder won’t know about. These will bounce back before Xmas....trust me!

Well I've bought a few for the long-term. A quality business on a 5% yield. May go lower, but will almost certainly be higher in 2/3 years. Dividend well covered. Possibly a bid target.
