As explained by the CEO in a presentation/interview, TOOP ensure advertising is cost effective and take-up is predictable, and they carefully control the costs of acquisition of each customer.

Generating leads isn't easy, an example would be those leaflets that fall out of Sunday newspapers, the return there was always 1% of 1%.

So for every 1% of the UK SME market Toop gets, it is worth between 10.77p and 15p on the share price valuation. Very nice. Buy Toop.

At over 80% conversion rate some large figures for new customers should be on the books, I just hope they are talking to hundreds, if not thousands every month. At that conversion rate the bottle neck will be generating leads you get to talk to.

The increase in costs could be a good sign as it might reflect in a larger than expected customer base. Record months of increasing business being signed is also promising as at the moment as momentum is still on the upside. But it might take a while for the numbers to come through..the ceo is not slow in coming forward though !!

And my estimate is around 15,000 at the interims..... equates to 3p using the above logic!!!

Market Comparisons

TOOP's CEO stated (2018) he aims to get at least 5% of the UK SME market within 5 years (by 2023), modified (22/3/2019 Interview) to 5% within 3 to 5 years (2021 - 2023). If they get 5% within 3 years, then 7% within 5 years looks possible.

- KCOM had 5% of the UK SME market and accepted an all cash takeover offer of £504m (33.8% premium to previous days closing price) on 24/4/2019, implying:

-- TOOP share price on gaining 5% of the UK SME market = (504 / 2.62) x 0.28p = 53.86p

-- TOOP share price on gaining 7% of the UK SME market = (7 / 5) x 53.86p = 75.4p

-- TOOP market capitalisation rises £100.8m & share price rises 10.77p, for every 1% of the UK SME market it gains.

- Daisy Group (2018) has 7% of the UK SME market and in H1 2018 (FT, June 2018) put itself up for sale at £1 billion before being bought by its founder.

-- Parity with Daisy would give TOOP (getting 5%) a market capitalisation of 5/7 x £1 billion = £714.28m & share price 74.8p

-- Parity with Daisy would give TOOP (getting 7%) a market capitalisation of £1 billion & share price 107.7p

-- TOOP market capitalisation rises £142m & share price rises 15p, for every 1% of the UK SME market it gains.

- Conclusion: TOOP share price target on 5% to 7% = 54p to 75p (& potentially 100p+)

There are 5 million SME's in the UK, so ball park 1% = 50,000 SME's.

However, some SME's may only need 1 phone/modem, whereas others may need 50 or more.

Hence, the more SME's TOOP sign up requiring multiple phones/modems, the better, e.g. like TOOP's client Wenzels the Bakers, which has 60 locations and is still expanding.

Hopefully not many sellers at this level like last time as we're getting very close to interims so should carry on pushing on up. Dyor

TopTips (1252) I would say fair value on TOOP getting 1% of the UK SME market would be approx 12.87p, i.e. the average of a comparison with KCOM and Daisy based on their values at 1% thus (10.77p + 15p) / 2 = 12.8p

I believe April is already looking like another record month. Business seems to be growing alongside the size of the company at the moment.

The price has remained more or less the same even after confirmation of record business. If it still remains here at the interims then we expect there to be no change in the business being reported in the interims over last six months which I doubt will be the case;) dyor
