Paul, many thanks for your kind wishes. I like the last para in the Whittington link, "below the elbow" and "drips". A month ago I was alittle dubious but now on reflection after the latest RNS I feel more confident the take up of the new cannulae will gain momentum. My concern, although I have never physically seen the time cannulae,is that it is maybe more cumbersome than the original,of course as in every industry the (workforce)nurses are wary of change but the girls I have talked with honestly believe that it is a great idea.Only a very personal and unbiased viewpoint but I'm still holding and think we will eventually see a good return on our investment. Mind I'am always optomistic, I have to be!! Cheers and good luck to all holders.

Further to the preliminary findings on Jul. 1st at the Whittington they recently (Oct. 20th) announced themselves as MRSA free during the prior six months, which would be a nice contribution to their TimestripIV detailed assessment.

From what was said at the AGM if they crack the NHS with these products and do well elsewhere this will certainly not be this price for long IMHO

Not sure its critical either way. My gut feel is that we are likely to get more good news on their medical products over the next few months as a result of which I tend to agree with you that either they will not need to raise more money or if they do it will be a relatively small amount at a decent price. I really do believe that we will look back at the last month or two as missed opportunties to top up at what will then look like a steel of a price. Based on the information provided at the AGM the products now being pushed have good margins and hence could dramatically change the prospects for the company. Personally I will certainly be looking to see if I can free up some cash to top up yet again before the share price moves up further so any short term weakness is fine with me as I am here for the long term

We'll have to disagree on that one as I'm quite sure that the 2x500k trades effectively cancelled out PI investments.

I wasn't around to say that the Walton news was very welcome - my confidence is growing that they won't need to raise more money, or at least if they do it will be at a higher price to today's share price and will have negligible overall effect.

As before my guess is that most/all of yesterday's trades which ADVFN show as sales were in fact buys.

Timestrip (TIME, 1.8p, £8.9m) the first NHS Trust, Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, has fully adopted Timestrip I.V. into its protocol for monitoring the dwell-time of Peripheral Intravenous Cannulae (PVC's). Timestrip I.V. is currently being used and trialed by more than 25 other NHS hospitals. We reiterate our SPECULATIVE BUY recommendation with a target price of 2p from 26/10/09.

Not for the first time they have unfortunately produced good news on a bad day for the market. Notwithstanding this a decent performance for the day. for what its worth I understand margin is very good on these products

if they trial it in 25 other hospitals and it gets the thumbs up, how many UK hospitals can it be rolled out to?

a UK-wide distribution (eg following a NHS recommendation) of the device would make today's rise look like chicken feed IMO

just thinking ahead.

Still hasn't done enough for me to warrant a buy but good news all in all, still going to wait for the year to year update unless excpetional RNS's are released in the meantime. I note that Hoodless are one of the MM's dealing with this share.

Great news, good volumes. Good to see this generating some trading interest: even if some use this as an opportunity to offload unwanted stock, at least it raises visibility, and for those aware of the business plan and Timestrip's potential, these RNS's are a real vindication and a solid lead indicator of future interest. Looking forward to more of the same. This is just my opinion.

Well done to the patient, the hoodless analyst has visited the company and actualy thinks it has a real chance (subject to contracts/revenues) of being a real success he highlighted it to me as a possible success story some 6 months ago but with the caveat I would have to be patient.
