05/2/2007 14:44 | Storming away again today - and yet what a quiet thread... | beaufort1
30/1/2007 22:29 | International footprint is getting bigger. I believe this is the first Danish contract. | orange1
30/1/2007 19:37 | Good finds Orange1 - thanks again. I'm liking this stock more and more. CR | cockneyrebel
30/1/2007 18:45 | Tikit announced today that it has been selected by Bech-Bruun, Denmark's largest law firm, to undertake a massive IT upgrade. Under the deal Tikit will be implementing a range of technologies for Bech-Bruun, with a view to giving the forward thinking firm a very competitive advantage. In the words of Gareth Thomas, Tikit's Sales Manager: "Bech-Bruun is the largest law firm in Denmark, so it's a great validation of our service offering that we have been selected for this major upgrade. The firm is taking a considerable leap in terms of its IT systems and it's going to give them a measurable competitive advantage. Not only will the firm internally become more efficient, its lawyers will be able to offer clients a better service." | orange1
29/1/2007 19:11 | CR. Yes i agree & i did purchase some this a.m, i just thought that the chart looked a little bit overbought shortterm, any pullback will be short lived though. Onward & upwards i like the sound of the cash on the balance sheet, has the Co any debt you are aware of. | davidwilkin
29/1/2007 19:09 | Tikit exhibiting in New York at the moment: | orange1
29/1/2007 19:09 | More about the Portal development which according to the Telegraph article could be a must-have for all legal firms and consequently a big money spinner for Tikit: | orange1
29/1/2007 12:18 | Very good write-up in Sunday Telegraph | beaufort1
29/1/2007 11:10 | Why would that be? I subscribe to the theory that many stocks get 'overbought' on genuine demand. For instance this is a good software co with a craking record of growth trading on a PE under 15 even with this rise. That's an astonishingly low PEG for a company with extreme growth, good barriers to entry and £3m cash on the balance sheet. Could go a lot further yet before these look expensive imo. CR | cockneyrebel
29/1/2007 11:04 | A little overbought, expect a small pullback. DYOR | davidwilkin
29/1/2007 10:55 | Now that's a nice looking chart... | beaufort1
29/1/2007 08:17 | Added a few more this am, reckon these have multi-bagger potential and very cheap for a software co with good barriers to entry imo - fwd PE 13. CR | cockneyrebel
28/1/2007 19:24 | And there's more: Runner-up in the category "Supplier/consultant personality of the year" at the Legal Technology Oscars (see above) was ........ David Lumsden of Tikit! | orange1
28/1/2007 11:56 | Nice :-) Cheers Orange. CR | cockneyrebel
28/1/2007 10:59 | Glowing write-up in the Sunday Telegraph: Here's a sample: Tikit is at present conducting a trial with Eversheds to deliver a new legal portal to provide a single gateway to all four of these key functions. This is built on a version of Microsoft SharePoint software which is being specifically modified by Microsoft and Tikit for the legal community. If this trial succeeds the company will become a totally different proposition, offering an application that every law firm in the world may want. According to Legal Business magazine, the top 100 UK firms billed £10.8bn last year. Tikit believes this creates a market for its services worth more than £500m per year. | orange1
25/1/2007 13:04 | The Legal Technology Oscars are being awarded tonight: Tikit is an Awards sponsor - so they are bound to get a few! ;-) | orange1
22/1/2007 19:04 | CR i admire your trading strategy, you seem to look at a recent trading update then director buys before you take the plunge, having read your posts on a number of threads over a period of time i reckon you success rate is probably around the 75% mark, wich is stupendous. | sigora
22/1/2007 18:34 | lots of IT/software companies are trading on modest ratings so yes, I like the sector. Got to be selective tho, I know a few software companies that have plodded for years and will continue to as they haven't changed. I like TIK as they have had a positive trading update, have a good track record and trading on a fw PE of 13 which is very low for the growth here. FSG is another favourite of mine, 30% growth, fwd PE 13.5 but ahead from what brokers suggest and what I've gleaned. MCRO also looks interesting with the placing and director buying there and NWT looks interesting too which I bought a small few today. CR | cockneyrebel
22/1/2007 18:17 | CR you seem bullish on the IT sector, been reading some of your positngs on a number of other board, is this a sector you believe will outperform in 2007?. | sigora
22/1/2007 17:27 | if the buy back was of the Chairman's shares then the results will have to be better than spot on imo, and the outlook better be good. If not then I would expect the Chairman to be spending all the proceeds on a good barister that he is sure to know. I don't believe they could ever justify the co buying shares back from the chairman and then the shares getting hit by poor results or outlook, it would be the next best thing to enbezzlement imo if the company had helped him out as a buyer. For that reason I'm more confident that the results and outlook will be sparkling. I think punters see that themselves today, hence the new high. CR | cockneyrebel
22/1/2007 17:11 | Hope you are all going to these on Thursday: Should be a big night for Tikit. | orange1
22/1/2007 15:57 | That buy back was for the same price as the chairman sold his 100,000 for, presumably they bought them off him. Good cash generating company, with pots of cash in the bank. capa | capa
22/1/2007 15:44 | breaking out I think - 100K buy back announced late Friday. CR | cockneyrebel
16/1/2007 12:32 | I very much doubt the chairman could sell 100K prior to the results in an illiquid stock like this without giving very good assurance on fwd trading to the buyer. Interesting it was followed with an 8K broker buy today. CR | cockneyrebel
11/1/2007 08:43 | Blimey it's quiet here. I picked some up today on thee trading statement - huge triple digit earnings growth, fwd PE 14 but likely to see upgrades imo. divi paying software co - I bet the fwd PE might be a lot lower than 14 myself. CR | cockneyrebel |
