I too am looking for a turn around from the "dormant" state of affairs on this one. Sitting on a cash pile for the last 2 years while oppertunities abound seems to be a contradiction of their stated strategy !! I hope they dont have the nerve to take management fees for sleeping on the job !!

Just need to wait for the action. If they do a reverse takeover then it's likely to be at quite a premium to the current heavily discounted nav.

Hmmm - the good news looks to have gone pretty well much un-noticed - as yet anyway

This is indeed excellent news. Bruce Rowan has been milking this company for years without delivering shareholder value. Colin Bird is a capable bloke with a good track record.

Topvest - yes, good idea. A liquidation of the portfolio and an RTO for a good African gold project would be a great way forward.

Yes, it's good news. Looks like Colin Bird is finally going to get this one going. He got a very good price for Kiwara recently, so maybe he's looking for other projects at an opportune time. I wouldn't be surprised to see a reverse takeover here, if they have the right project in mind.

This HAS to be considered good news for those still in here. At last BR has agreed to stand aside; and I suspect (hope) within 6months he will have placed his stake and gone entirely. Might consider getting back in at some stage.

sorry topvest - but that has been the supposed strategy for the past 4 years!!! what is the point of having small investments in the likes of AFE and saying they believe in it and not topping up in it when holding so much cash. How can they not have found some suitable investment oppertunities over the past couple of years!! there are plenty out their. deal activity over the past few years is minimal and management is either not interested or asleep. comming out of the slump in market about 6 months ago was a golden oppertunity to pick good stocks that had been oversold and TIR should have been in there!! I have held this stock for 5 years and have seen the same bland reports again and again only to be disappointed by its lack of action.

No...there was a change in tone and direction

"Based on the above assessment, Tiger intends aggressively to seek out
undervalued investments in base metals and the PGM (platinum Group Metals)
sector with a view to taking reasonably sized positions in companies that have
good assets backed up by quality management."
