14/9/2024 18:46 | Well what a day. Wife said can you hear a ticking like plopping sound. Yep it was water dripping from a radiator actual small rust hole mind you 22year old rad. Locked off rad and ordered new one. Then would you be leave it I found sewers blocked luckily my sewerage pipes join up and run through the family next door land so get free Anglian water clearance. So all done, now to watch football or strictly come dancing all depends if I have enough brownie points. | rovi70
14/9/2024 13:20 | Afternoon chaps. Quick cup of coffee and then shall go out for a walk despite not being so nice today. | jonjonck
13/9/2024 16:14 | Yes the sun came out here and made quite a difference but it was only two degrees when I got up around 6am, at least if we get a frost it will kill the weeds off | 2gekko
13/9/2024 15:16 | Oopsie! I seem to have forgotten to say hello today. I definitely wrote a post after we were back from shopping - must have missed hitting 'post reply' It was really cold when we left, came back in what seemed a really hot day and now cold again. 13/9/2024 09:57 | If you're having a bad day, just remember someone is dating your ex and thinking they got lucky. | rovi70
12/9/2024 20:20 | Yes agreed, the other charmer is the 25% reduction on council tax for people who live alone which are usually pensioners and that may be next, they really have under estimated the public dislike of their polices, none of whic were in their manifesto | 2gekko
12/9/2024 13:12 | Well after years of hot curries and beer I'm not sure how old I will get! I'm a bit worried about Labour making pensions means tested, I hope the killjoys do not do this | 2gekko
12/9/2024 11:56 | Wait until you're really old and you will be on limp mode all the time. Well that's what my mates tell me. | rovi70
12/9/2024 11:21 | Lol, I have decided to test my heating today just in case it plays up but it feels cold anyway so probably a good day for it I bought a Treadmill so will have a slow walk and at least if my calf gives me Jip I haven't got to struggle home on limp mode | 2gekko
12/9/2024 08:12 | Good Morning. No, getting older comes with its problems, but then I suppose we should be grateful we have the opportunity to suffer aging ailments. Look on the bright side, you can use it as an excuse to not go for a walk and watch telly instead. | jonjonck
12/9/2024 07:45 | Morning I suffered calf pains yesterday and had to abandan the morning walk but managed to walk ok this morning and had taken Aspirin so I reckon it's blood circulation, getting older is no fun sigh | 2gekko
11/9/2024 10:32 | I am on my way to remove the nuts.... no match for the Beast. Good Morning all. | jonjonck

10/9/2024 21:29 | No but I have tried it one of my 20 ton press bolts. ChuggaChugga Wheeeeeee! and straight off. .. on the low setting. If anything it is way too powerful for most nuts and bolts but then that is not what I bought it for and the lower power versions would be more suitable. Charging the batteries now before I test it properly. Have taken photos but cannot get to load to postimages.... just get a blank picture. | jonjonck

You need to go to hospital first. Bum said I. It's a weird world when one eye sees white and the other sees a coffee cream colour. Happy days ! Await appointment! | rovi70
