All went well with the eye check up so it's the other eye chatter to be done next Friday Re the Indian went with long term friends see them twice a year but it's normally meals at homes. I had for got how tight my friend is. £77.80 came the bill for four ie £38.90 each. Handed my card and thought £45 quid was well ok tight bar stewards friend said take 40 quid a £ 1.10 tip. And they picked the most expensive meals. Should've remembered as many years ago when a group of us used to go to the ninth hole he would be last to the bar. Always used to stop and tie his shoe lace up as others went straight to bar played this trick for many months until one day as he bent down to tie laces to the captain said "you can't pull that trick John you have slip on shoes on. " all laught.

Hope all has gone well with the eye check up.

I have found my plastic clips, in the ruddy van all summer in plain view in the main locker. I would have bet £10000 they were not in the van.

It is back to the normal routine again this morning of shopping on a Friday. Not happy and want to be on holiday again....and still not found these elusive plastic clips.

I have a bag of plastic springed clips I used for sticking the Motorhome window repairs -- can I find them. No. Just vanished. I must have walked 5 miles back and forth searching for the bag of clips! I am giving up searching.

Been hot this afternoon and so took a drive to Arbroath to get some gas cannisters and to have the air conditioning on and cool down. What a joy car air conditioning is. Two tasks off the list. Not letting the grass grow yet.
Popped into Morrisons to have a coffee and cream doughnuts. Well, that is my weigh loss efforts out of the window now.

I have now changed the mounting screws for the motorhome habitation water pump for longer ones. The new pump needed longer screws and old screws just caught a couple of threads. One task off the list.

Good Morning gents.

Motorhome problems are just small issues really and easily fixed. I am still shattered, its the drive north through the UK which does me in and did not help getting soaked twice in Kendal through to the bones on the way home.
Will our new Pub fitness freak soon be lecturing us all on how we should be doing more to keep fit. Talking of weight loss I must go and weigh myself and see how much I lost over the summer...I am down two belt holes.

Yes slightly remember just in the process of moving to Penkridge Staffordshire at the time moving from the vale of Eversham. Lots of market gardeners praying for rain. JJ sorry hear about motor home problems. But it's good to also hear that you and the good wife although tired are back.
