06/1/2019 15:25 | The red chairs we bought about 30 years ago in Calais. We were camping in a tent near Dover and had nothing to sit on. We did the usual touristy thing of taking a day trip on the Ferries by foot to Calais and the Hypermarkets. Found the chairs in the Hypermarket and bought them. Most things in the Motorhome have a story..nothing exciting really but nice to have things which bring back memories of previous holidays. Just looking at the silver blind in photo - must stretch the bottom of it out to remove the wrinkles - they just get worse if left. | jonjonck

06/1/2019 14:54 | Just put a new cover on the ironing board. Story behind the ironing board is when I bought house in Oldmeldrum previous owners left it in house as it was old and was going in skip. "no no, leave it as I can make use of it" I said. When I sold Oldmeldrum and moved I asked removal men if they could dispose of it along with another box of rubbish. "Don't do that" said the removal chap " put a new cover on it and a tin of spray paint and will be better than any you can buy these days". So I still have it and has had many a new cover and still better than any you can buy. Probably as old as I am. | jonjonck
