Unless it is unrelated, I don't see much logic in a share price fall when the Directors give themselves options. If 3.5% dilution (less in due course if more shares are issued)in 3 years time will be material for the SP, this may not be the best investment up to then!

If the people who know believed the next piece of news would likely cause a share price fall, surely they would have waited? I presume a rise on whatever news next comes is more likely - so taken the options now.

Agree, but worth noting that this tech has probably not had the attention it deserves over the past 18 months as they were concentrating on the facial recognition business.

slicethepie. Agreed re potential market size but a lot of competing technologies out there. So the success or failure may not be just down to competitive advantage (if it exists) but sales and package skills (imo).

Think we are seeing a rotation in shareholder base, this is probably now too small for some existing inst holders but they are not desperate to sell. Once over who knows but reading recent statement the board think the end market is huge

Meant to say - if directors realise this they may be making use of the opportunity to buy before good news is released (all guesswork!). Vrs did well after Lombard Odier selling stopped, not sure if they have stopped selling hzm or just paused over holiday period.

I’m intrigued with this share! All buys (including director buys) and the price is static. There must be a massive sell in progress but why over such a prolonged period without being reported? Any idea why the large buys seem to have matching -ve trades? Lombard Odier have been selling a lot of AIM stock transferred across from Henderson in April - could this be the case here (happened with vrs, then hzm, maybe now thru?)

1Kiwi - Sorry your cash in bank is wrong - - Only £17.3M AS AT 14th December - remember they had to pad down DB's debt - Also Cash not NET CASH so have to deduct any remaining debt in Thruvision plus make a provision for what an analysis of the interim accounts suggests may be a significant ongoing cash burn - Look at the 6 month segregated revenue of only £344K and cost of sales of £367K with loss before tax of ££2,432K -

So not sure how much cash they should hold back to move the Thruvision business forward - If I was running the business I would not feel comfortable with less than a 3 year cushion to include increased selling and marketing costs plus technical assistance and support for purchasers and the sales team - Ball park say a minimum of £10 million.

Tom Black shows confidence anyway, buying just over 1.5m shares today; up to 6.87% now. Following my lead of a few days ago to get back in. (Oh, and multiplying it more than somewhat.)

Like this. "The Board believes that a substantial new international market, measured in tens of thousands of units over the next five years is becoming available and that, with Thruvision's key differentiators now in place, there is an opportunity to drive rapid, organic and profitable growth."At 80-100k per unit this is massive
