rumour placing higher than price now...get in monday

-------

The price rose after that post, when anyone that understands the market knew Thor weren't going to be able to lace at a premium!

What it did do was provide the 'discount' to attract punters in of course!

Good assets but rubbish management. Assets valued at about GBP 12m versus market cap at 0.26p when placing is complete , GBP 2.7m

This is almost as bad as KIBO in the destruction of Shareholder value. Still I am sure it'll get a whole lot worse yet.

So, if MTR only signed up for £45k and MB et al could only scrub together another £25k, who is taking the rest of the shares?

I can't see a queue forming...

That's a pretty damning statement from a major shareholder...

Michael McNeilly, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger, commented:"We are deeply disappointed with the performance of Thor and have maintained our pro-rata holding in order to protect our investment. We see Thor management (excluding Mark Potter who was only recently appointed) as having failed to deliver on their targets and believe that it is essential that cost cutting measures are taken urgently in order to reduce Thor's ongoing administrative costs. We do believe there is investment value that can be realised from Thor and agree that drilling at Bonya could improve the viability of Molyhill and is therefore important. We also believe that management needs to actively start considering new strategic assets to help drive shareholder value and improve market sentiment."

Well I think in a few days you lot too could have opportunity to throw good money after bad at 0.2p.
Total disgrace to Mick and the entire crew

They only believe in what's right for them, abrahe00.

MTR partaking but didn't say how much. I looked at Ray's derisory purchase, 5k worth, but then thought if he'd bought the same number of shares in Spring last year it would have cost him 100k:)

Must be one of the worst performers in an admittedly devastated sector.

I think it's an absolute disgrace. Just 2 months ago they tell the ASX that they are finded for the next two quarters, and yet, here we are, a fund raise at a massive discount.

They should've done this back in January when the share price was nearer 1p.

And, to rub salt into the wound, the directors are picking up very cheap shares at a huge discount and making it sound as if they're doing us a favour!

If they truly believed in their own bs, why didn't they buy shares on the open market?

MC of £2m, to raise £0.5m implies 25% of MC.

So any placing is going to be at least 0.2p.

IMHO"

Think all those "sophisticated investors " re previous placings no longer feeling so sophisticated

Moly funding still seems way off to me with more drilling needed as concerns over life of mine and capital risk.

Bloody useless.

I agree, if funding for mollyhill was forthcoming, they would have hold off on placement. The share price will not rise on any drilling results, as the BOD has lost the trust of shareholders by diluting the f@&! Out of their shares for 3 years

Annual remuneration running at about 25% of m/c now. About right?

bsg,

I agree, they're clearly not aware of the forthcoming placing, which will almost certainly be discounted, IMHO.

Someone just bought at 0.3, let's hope for his sake the placing is higher than 0.2p!
