10/10/2018 19:01 | Agreed both! | hoper1
10/10/2018 16:17 | Agreed. The fact that he's talking to moly takers at LME is a little disappointing . Thought we were past that point | vish65
10/10/2018 16:08 | They've struggled from the start I think, Vish, high production costs and poorly financed. I think they mined some and sent it to the US!! Hang on, doesn't THR have a large tungsten resource in the US?:) It beggars belief that he is as yet unable to announce that he's in talks with interested parties. I don't mean innuendo or hints, nods and winks and BS but real factual statements. | paleje
10/10/2018 08:55 | MB getting more active on twitter. I'd rather see it in RNS's. In London for LME week, talking to the larger molybdenum players about Molyhil molybdenum for @ThorMining #THR. These guys are bullish re moly for the next couple of years. 1 reply 9 retweets 25 likes Reply 1 Retweet 9 Like 25 Direct message Mick Billing @MickBilling Follow Follow @MickBilling More Not generally known, but at current metal prices the molybdenum revenue over the 1st 4 years of operation cover the project finance needed for Molyhil, leaving tungsten to cover the opex & PROFIT 12:24 AM - 10 Oct 2018 | paleje

04/10/2018 17:30 | He paid 4p+ for his THR shares and has continued to ramp them with little success so is losing a small fortune on his holding here. | kirtonender9
04/10/2018 16:50 | Hi paleje Yes i wont be buying shares in that part of the world. Personally from Micks interviews i sense we have alot of interest and as you pointed out via the MTR accounts its more a case of working through to get the best deal for shareholders. Its taking time but i'm still optimistic. The Bonya deal again being in shares tells me the vendor is accepting the deal to also get Thor share price apppreciation via Thor's other assets. Interesting times ahead. | vish65
04/10/2018 15:34 | Yeah I noticed PJ enthusiasm too, Vish. But lots of minnows are loaded with potential this and that. It's their ability to do deals that monetise value that counts. Mick's been at it long enough, maybe too long, we'll see. I read on twitter earlier there's a company pumping $300m into Uzbekistani tungsten with a view to getting offtakers on board in Europe and USA. Lot of money, confident outfit. Hardly a safe jurisdiction but they're doing it. Yet we've got tungsten in America's back yard and no interest? Doesn't make sense, something's gotta give as I've said before. | paleje
04/10/2018 15:13 | Hopefully PJ will be right in his comments on a mining recovery. They need to when looking at his interests in GGP, THR, RGM and ECR. I expect he's still showing a considerable profit due to purchase timings in THR and GGP, well some of them anyway - good luck... | noirua
04/10/2018 13:07 | Vanadium Initially when this was mentioned as part of Bonya i thought ...so what ? What can Thor do with it ? How can any value ever be realised ? Our friend Mr Johnson was getting very excited over it so I did a bit of digging. Found this dated 27/8/18. Worth a read and explains alot. hxxps://www.nextsmal Note the other companies and their relative locations to Alice Springs, Molyhill and Jevois at Bonya. I was struck that TNG are building a vanadium mine at Mount Peake based on 160mt @ 0.28. Yet Jevois has hit 49m @ 0.96. Accepted may not be a full representation of Jervois. Non the less specialist companies close by which could give a route to realising some value from Jervois. hxxp://www.tngltd.co Blue sky thinking as always DYOR | vish65

04/10/2018 08:49 | Thanks abrahe00. Don't suppose he mentioned what the trip provided that email and phone could not:) | paleje
04/10/2018 06:52 | I asked Mick the "why China?" question and to his credit, he has replied. Apparently there are no similar facilities anywhere in the US and their Canadian consultant recommended the institute in Guangzhou. As for US/China trade wars: He says he is not looking to fund PM with Chinese money and in any case, since PM is several years away from actual production, all the current trade wars stuff would have blown over by then hopefully. In the meantime, we wait... GLA. | abrahe00
03/10/2018 16:50 | I noted Guangzhou was also where the Annual Tungsten Conference was held last week 24-28 th Sep so i guess thats why all the Board were there so the trip got 2 things done at the same time. If this keeps dropping over the next few weeks very tempted to buy more . Almost back to where we were a year ago but much nearer getting some resolution to things. Watching with interest. | vish65
03/10/2018 15:37 | Or so that Mick gets a few freebie trips to Guangzhou, much more interesting than trips to America. Nah, only joking, I would imagine Chinese were chosen for cost and proficiency as they're the world's biggest tungsten handler. But good point on the trade aggro, it would presumably deter any major financial involvement. Might do even without the trade war with tungsten a US strategic metal. It should attract home territory involvement imo, even if the trade war eases or Trump doesn't get a second term, there's no reason to think they'll take tungsten off the strategic metals list so it should be a good bet for a US or Canadian outfit. | paleje
03/10/2018 06:50 | Why is the PM test work being done in China? Are there no US based labs that can do this? If it's for attracting Chinese money, are we not at risk of being caught up in the current trade war between the US & China? | abrahe00
