Looks an interesting acquisition. It could have been a lot worse. Not thrilled by the continued issue of warrants. If interest was as great as Mick says in the RNS, they wouldn't have had to sweeten the placing with a warrant issue too.

IAnbag, I believe with the change in macro climate, the 10year life is no longer a requirement. US are pushing for critical mineral development and Australia is one of there international partners. With the post COvid China fallout I epect to see a major push on domestic Tungsten production as China currently supplies over 70% of world supply. US will be working with AUS on this, big things coming here.

10 year mine life the magic number - hit that and the project is on.
Kapunda - copper/gold play - drill that and then lets see what the reaction is
Pilot Mountain is a valuable asset - that will become clear
Spring Hill - valuable royalty asset

current market cap is way too cheap

a1m... Firstly, Moly is NOT ready for production! The mine has to be constructed first at a cost of over $40m!!! Secondly, since you are so well read-up on Molyhil, would you care to tell us how long Moly has been "ready"?

No? Ok, I'll tell you.... Mick has been plugging Moly since 2008. He has produced one fudged report after another and has been ready for launch for at least two years. No one is going to invest over $40m for a mine life of around 7 years, regardless of how much Mick may try to bulk that out to 9 or 10 years.

As for Pilot Mountain... The Donald declared Tungsten a critical commodity back when he got elected in 2017 and yet there has been zero movement on PM.

So, please don't lecture folks that have been watching this share for a number of years.

If only there was a Co on AIM, that had assets in America that could capitalise on this....Oh wait, what's THR's Pilot Mountain all about again.

KEFI mineral, another junior miner, raised cash at 0.65p couple weeks back, share price now at 1.2p. Just another example of how all the miners are getting cashed up and seeing the share price rip higher

If you don;t understand how COVID-19 has changed the macro investing climate, and how it has positivley impacted the potential for THR projects to progress here then I cannot help you and need to do a bit more due diligence. I suggest you start googling projects realting to critical mineral in the USA and Australia and the desire to have less reliance on China and you might start to get a better understanding of the potential here.

If you have not noticed the recent flood of money coming into juniors minors since Covid-19 then you are simply not accurately assess the situation.

If you aren't even aware that THR's molyhill project is ready to begin production then you really have no credibility in regard to posting about THR.

I suggest you are looking to get on board here and are frustrated that the price hasn;t tanked on news of a fundraise, hence these posts. Each to their own, everyone has their own strategy.

a1m,

Asiamet is slightly different, they were looking pretty dire, and then a corporate action came along.

I would suggest that is the exception rather than the rule, and for companies like Thor with multiple projects, at early stages, there is no "boom".

I am wary of declaring a general mining "boom" (except gold, and maybe silver) whilst there is still considerable uncertainty about covid-19.

The overnight numbers in South Korea were a bit disconcerting, IMO, and China has new cities on lockdown at this moment, and now new cases in Wuhan.

Look at ARS, another junior miner last month, raised at 0.9p, current price 3.6p. The secotr is booming, get the money in the bank and what this fly.

Look at Condor Gold today, share price 60p, placing at 36p!

MTR are over a barrel to a degree, if they don't participate, THR may struggle to raise a meaningful sum, and that would jeopardise their existing investment.

a1m1 you sound like a relative newbie. You'll get beaten down eventually. I remember 1.2Billion share placing at a very low price. That knocked the stuffing out of me on this share. Rinse and repeat. We've had several cycles of that. How many more can Mick get away with.

edit: this after all is >99% down in the long term.

Cash is king and THR will be getting a fresh injection, and a new deal being announced to boot! Exciting times and I'm sure the Spring Hill cash will come in handy and be most welcome! GLA!

It'll also be interesting to see if MTR take up their allocation in order to hold onto their % holding, or let it go to the dogs...

The Spring Hill money will be peanuts. The mining boom will be for companies with producing assets, not ones that need $40m and 2 years to get started.

Let's see what the fundraising price is. My money is on 0.15p

I don't see cash injection into the Co at this point as dreaded, it's very much a positive. Cash was required and cash has been delivered. Remember, more cash is expected via the Spring Hill royalty too in June. The post COVID macro climate points to huge bull run in mining and metals, so it seems wise to get a fresh input of cash at the begining of the cycle and ride the bubble up. We could be looking at one of the iggesdt bubbles in Mining and metals in our history post covid.

Don't they have enough projects already. Here's a novel idea, choose one to focus on and take towards production! This new project will probably be something in vogue to draw in the retail money..

Well that's good that you have more than an eye on mining sector and obviously see the oppotunity there. Sector has been hammered for years so glad you acknwledge the shift change in opportunity here.

if don't believe that the current macro climate offers the best opportunity in mining stocks and metals in years then you will probably be forever keeping your eye on stocks rather than acknowledging and accepting the associated risks and getting involved.
