My best guess at this point would be equity holders (if voted for) getting <1% of the group airline.

A business which couldn't be sold to third parties very recently. It's going to be a near wipeout I'm afraid.

So current equity get a significantly diluted stake in the airline where approx 75pc will be owned by the banks/bonds and 25pc by FOSUN. So it looks like less than 1% of the airline only and possibly only if they put new money in?

Take whatever is on offer at 8am as otherwise you will get the odd penny when all of this goes through.

However, the recapitalisation is expected to result in existing shareholders' interests in the recapitalised and reorganised Group Airline being significantly diluted, subject to feedback from creditors, the new money providers and other stakeholders.

Key commercial terms and next steps include:

· Fosun contributing £450 million of new money to the Group and acquiring at least 75% of the equity of the Group Tour Operator (subject to the receipt of anti-trust approvals) and 25% of the Group Airline;

· The Group's core lending banks and noteholders targeting in aggregate £450 million of new money to the Group and converting their existing debt into approximately 75% of the equity of the Group Airline and up to 25% of new equity in the Group Tour Operator;

· Implementation commitment targeted for early October 2019.

Lol you really have to love just how useless the BoD's are here. "We would like to see existing shareholders take part in the recapitalisation of the company" followed by "the result of the recapitalisation process may lead to the delisting of the company".....lol lol lol What an utter useless bunch of directors

From the TelegraphThe data from 2014 to 2018, produced by the Civil Aviation Authority, found that eight of the UK's 10 busiest carriers have seen an increase in delays of more than an hour - with an estimated 17 million passengers affected last year alone.The study shows that Ryanair, Wizz Air and Easyjet delays have doubled over the last four years while Thomas Cook is the worst airline for delays overall.

Gents

There have been 12500 posts in a year. A great number like me spotted the mess this was in.
The price was 140p and the more i dug the more i warned this was doomed.

Of course i got grief along with others who believed that the Hot summer stopped people going on holiday ( JET2 SOLD 700,000 MORE BY THE WAY IN THAT PERIOD)

We told investors the model was flawed and with over 2 billion in debt and a business that was still loosing customers and money it was easy to see how this would end.

Just like it is now with people having refused 12p just a week ago even after being told you are getting wiped out.
I am baffled because something is better than nothing so why fail to sell in to such a false market.

Now people want Fosum to fail?

If they do and i think they might the whole lot goes.
