Shorting TCG though was obvious after the last financial statement …

huge debt
loss making
poor outlook

Another one in serious trouble is the AA.

Also - I rarely ever short shares.

I usually use short S.B's to short the DOW if the market is collapsing - to act as a hedge against my shares dropping - saves me from having to sell them and buy back.

For example - I shorted to DOW yesterday - closing that short at just before USA market close.

May do that again later in the week if market starts to show 'fear'.

I don't know what the turk guy is up to.

I'm sure that he'll make a mint though.
Maybe he wants a seat on the new board - I don't know.

He may well be selling now though.

The market is adding short positions though despite the attempted squeeze .
