04/8/2019 12:14 | Not if hes buying the debt up as well. Gl | jayrh
04/8/2019 10:51 | Ps who owns the debt ... whats going on there as a smart turk be buying the at discount too | eggy6198
04/8/2019 10:44 | All over thinking this. A turk wants the company as he believes he is expert in industry and he can turn it around. The value of the company is what he will pay for it. Otherwise he is doing a mike and losing money. Now the chinamen are trying to get it on the cheap but the turk has put spanner in their plans. Basically the directors might pull the rug on monday but they ahould expect personnel legal action if they do as the turkmen are attacking west again and the pope no longer has an army to stip them | eggy6198
04/8/2019 10:24 | But a turk can buy it all for a bit more and the chinese can do one. Run that one again - what do you mean? How will it work? | nigelpm
04/8/2019 10:24 | JakNife, you may be write , but he has already put in at lease 120m in share purchase, will be interesting to see what happens next week and given he has not made any statements other than a mate of his on Twitter ... will be interesting week ahead | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 10:14 | Most talked about share on the aim market. I'm long an looking strong ":^) | inthemix
04/8/2019 10:12 | But a turk can buy it all for a bit more and the chinese can do one. Leta see how it plays out ... next week it will rise im sure | eggy6198
04/8/2019 10:06 | And there's the crux - Fosun think they can do it for about £750m (including doing a deal with the debt holders) - no one else has made a better offer yet. | nigelpm
04/8/2019 09:53 | Someone may pay 1.5/2bln and take a company with a turnover of 9bln and break it up which I am sure fosun will do for 750m lol | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 09:50 | The company buying has the funds to tske this private and pay dent at discount. Its most logical outcome... expect 15 to 20p by wednesday | eggy6198
04/8/2019 09:44 | Some of these analysts saying the shares are worthless don't know a lot more than we do. They are just repeating what some of us are saying - there is no value in the equity unless someone wants to make a bid for the shares then pay the bondholders and other debt holders off in full. | nigelpm
04/8/2019 09:31 | TT and Whitebox both increased their short on 31st July. They may know more than us, or not. Some of these analysts saying the shares are worthless don't know a lot more than we do. Turkish investment was around 8% at close on Wednesday, we don't yet know what he did on Thursday and Friday. | gregsc
04/8/2019 09:27 | Mate at that margin better to close and open ina week or so lol | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 09:24 | In the short term just need to ensure plenty of margin to cover a 500-1000% surge in share price - medium term it's dead. | nigelpm
04/8/2019 09:13 | Brave man to be short on it given current situation. But let’s hope we can all get out on a positive note ! | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 09:04 | Could well see a decent short squeeze - I'm short but still don't see any likely outcome other than a share price near zero when it all flushes out. | nigelpm
04/8/2019 09:02 | Nigelpm; mate your probably right on points 1 and 2. Think point 3 there are better ways , just put statement out and don’t do anything about it lol ... let’s see what happens in the next few days hopefully the PI who have lost value can get some back. Good luck to all | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 08:56 | Fair enough. I guess the other way to consider it is to list what can happen with a larger equity stake : 1) A larger voting % when it comes to a decision on Fosun's deal 2) A short squeeze/higher share price 3) A bit of publicity That's about it though. | nigelpm
04/8/2019 08:48 | Nigelpm; To be frank I am at a loss. I got my hand burnt already on the stock and jumped in again when it was raising .. I personally think he will either dump the stock and make some gains or will try and somehow get part of TC even if it’s the airline business as he already has, I believe 26 plans ??? And add the slots to them. So it this stage a bit clueless as to his intentions , but if I can claw back some of my massive losses will be a positive !!! | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 08:47 | I agree. Next few weeks could see some interesting activity. | walkermike1
04/8/2019 08:43 | What's your theory then? | nigelpm
04/8/2019 08:41 | Interesting weeks ahead , hold tight and ride the rollover coster lol | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 08:41 | Nigelpm; you make some interesting pints but 1. He is a businessman in the same industry so I am sure he has an understanding 2. Probably to get his own bid in 3.no point spending that much money to by in admin ... will cost him more 4. Again he will lose if it goes into admin just like all PI 5. Maybe a possibility, at that investment may as bid for the company 6. I can think of better ways to lose money | vodolounge007
04/8/2019 08:33 | Why would someone by approx 8% of stock approx120m ??? Because they want to lose their money ???? A few thoughts : 1- A lack of understanding of the debt/equity hierarchy. 2- For whatever reason wants to block Fosun's plan 3- Wants to buy some of TCG in administration 4- Wants TCG to go into admin 5- Wants to ramp up the stock price to sell higher 6- They like setting fire to money Gut feel something around 3 and 4 - must admit though makes little sense. | nigelpm |
