Another comment from staff read: “We are not going bust, we are not going into administration and you will not lose your holiday.”

The travel firm, which served 22million customers last year, is looking to sell the airline side of the business in a bid to plug its £1.25billion debts.

What more do you trolls want?😅Unless you are implying the ceo is putting his reputation on the line by lying

The firm said to one user: "Please let me reassure you that we're not going into administration, closing down or going bust. We continue to trade and operate as normal and all our flights & holidays are going ahead as normal."

Yes your right. It clearly states the company is no going into administration.Top boss Peter Frankhauser told the independent that the company has "ample resources" to get through this difficult time. It's there in black and white it's not going but so what part of that statement that shorters don't understand. This will be up again and again now mate.

Yep, they need to be careful as missleading information to alter the share price could get them investigated. Saying administration when it's not true could influence the market and could get a prison sentence. Very risky thing to say from the word on the street lol.

Despite worries over its future, Thomas Cook has sought to reassure customers, saying it is "business as usual".

"We have ample resources to operate our business and at the same time, as usual, our liquidity position continues to strengthen into the summer period," it has said.

The summer months are the most profitable for travel companies, but the winter can be tougher as far fewer people tend to go away.
