21/6/2017 12:12 | Just been reminded of TPOG and TPOU by this article on the American seeking alpha site It seems to be an inv trust that keeps flying under the radar – up 10% this year according to the website (at least as of end of May) hxxp://www.thirdpoin surely that discount (circa 20%) will narrow if that performance keeps coming through…. | dg1337
04/10/2016 23:19 | Price and discount charts look to be basing - rising nav & gap to close Gentle low volatility riser imho TPOU usd class more liquid | luckymouse
02/5/2014 08:11 | 1st Quarter Investor Letter now published on the Third Point website:- | m1das_touch
27/3/2014 16:02 | I sold my position in a share (ticker) DCI as TPOG has a big position in this company. There seemed no point in duplication as Third Point are better managers than me. | anley
06/12/2013 18:16 | You guys should look at The Share Center or Interactive Brokers if you are dealers who want everything. I left TD as there systems are poor and HL too big and can't get their head around how to use ETF's. I use IB because I run a USA and CAD portfolios by for straight forward transactions then Share Center is fine. I don't want to knock or use the BB for recommending brokers......sorry everyone else. | anley
06/12/2013 10:17 | Payment credited around 10am this morning | bashby
06/12/2013 10:06 | Payment hadn't been credited at TD yesterday | aa29
06/12/2013 09:59 | My payment via the Share Centre was made on the due date and reinvested back into TPOG shares as part of the reinvestment plan they offer. I would report the HL person to higher authority as he was talking a load of tosh. | anley
05/12/2013 18:03 | Expected divi payment today, but on enquiring with Hargreaves Lansdown was advised that as an offshore entity, payment may be expected to be a few days late. Has anyone else a similar experience as it has not happened to me before? | bashby
20/11/2013 16:33 | Now we have a wide spread and is difficult to deal under the current offer.... and they went ex-div today - 2o November. | anley
20/11/2013 13:39 | or perhaps someone didn't want dividend income. The £ shares seem becalmed at the moment with the dividend (so far) having had little effect this year round. The main fund is IIRC returning 10% to holders, is this a sign that the fund is too big to generate above average returns? | aa29
20/11/2013 11:42 | Perhaps they do not understand what is happening or they have a broker who does not know which is the likely answer............th | anley
19/11/2013 17:28 | why would(probably)priva | bashby
14/11/2013 14:57 | I have bought and sold this stock this year and made a very good profit. However, after looking at a CNBC interview yesterday I have bought back in for the dividend and uplift which is going to come through sooner rather than later. He has also added to his FEDEX position as well. The Vanity Fair report is not what I would like to read in his position but I think he has very thick skin. | anley
02/11/2013 23:12 | Wow, they don't like Dan at VF. Worth reading the full article if you are invested. I have backed him for a while now, done well and waiting for the div. later in the month. But there seems to be a dark side there if you believe this hatchet job. | langostino
02/10/2013 18:15 | Thanks Jonwig, you are right. I think I might put on some low buy orders on the UK £ version, I have seen large swings in the price due to liquidity issues, and can pick up more discount that way. | checkers2
23/9/2013 13:13 | TPOU has been steady today. Remember that this one is a lot less liquid. | jonwig
23/9/2013 12:44 | Anyone know why the fall today ? | checkers2
27/8/2013 16:14 | Good idea. | praipus
25/8/2013 08:17 | TPOU thread - not meant to upstage! | jonwig
31/7/2013 10:18 | Loeb is on the move: Sold his gold at around $1450 Bashing Sony again Talking up his holding in CF Industries of North America | anley
23/7/2013 09:14 | The USD stock [TPOU] was marked up 3.4% at the open. (Those I hold, partly on a view of USD vs. GBP.) | jonwig
23/7/2013 08:56 | The shares have not reacted to the funds sale of most of its holding in YAHOO.... | anley |
