Buy now pay later juggernaut Afterpay (APT) saw its share price hit a fresh all-time high on Thursday – opening up ~7% at $80.7 per share – after the company upgraded its full-year net transaction margins and earnings guidance, on Wednesday, after the market close....


...Bell Potter retained their Buy rating and raised their price target on APT to $92.50 per share off the back of this guidance upgrade, with this guidance ahead of the broker's previous FY20 EBITDA estimates

I was considering top slicing after a 100%+ gain but having just reread the APT announcement of trading for Q4 and year to June 2020 on the ASX website I realise TSL is still significantly undervalued. APT full results are due to be published on 27th Aug. It will be interesting to see the utilisation of the Aus$800m fundraise and progress in Q1 2021. I think that the recent 4.8% investor has made a shrewd purchase.

Both examples of small companies that are under researched especially in Covid times when "Guidance withdrawn" seems to be the de rigueur.

Agree there FB, Carphone would play hardball. Anyway ST to the rescue, I'd like to see his sums I bet they're weighted heavily with Clear Pay value. Onward and upward don't mind how we get there.

Aim for the stars and all that. Clearly CPW have deeper pockets so I should think they wouldn't have wanted it to go to court on even a 60/40.

After today's update Simon Thompson in IC has sum-of-the-parts value @ 78p and now has a target price of 63p

Patiently waiting on share price "melt up"

So they launched a claim against Carphone for GBP 20m and are 'pleased to advise' they have now settled for GBP 1.45m out of which they cover their own legal costs and they'll be winding down other business with CW in an orderly fashion. Doesn't sound all that smart. Appreciate they have their ClearPay stake.
