mopped up a few more today, always good to buy under what the directors paid ! Not sure my trade showed as a sell on the ADVFN trades page though. Must be some news soon, all in the press about the upcoming sales season with the pound showing good value against other currencies and luxury market sales on the up.

Hi clocktower

That's what gets me - if one had been prepared to buy shares at 38p, why not mop them up at 32p???

Bearing in mind the equity raised at 38p there might be support before it reaches 25p

All quiet here - steady drift down. Do we think this might hit the 25p mark soon, or maybe even lower???

"The age of austerity is over, as the well-heeled splash out on Porsches and Dom PĂ©rignon champagne, according to retailers of luxury goods. The wealthy are more prepared to open their wallets than at any time in the past two years, suggesting they have put the financial crisis behind them, according to the FT. "

this afternoons announcement, two big houses with sizeable interests, a good avenue for further expansion funds if needed? Positive announcement IMHO.

BB,
see the note below, I find it very interesting that we may be looking at some consolidation in the industry, all it needs is for the potential in TFL to be highlighted and this will only come through news and results which equals time(12 months in my estimation). With all the good things that seem to be going on, expansion, management investments, it can only mean the company(and share price) is going in one direction.
We see that TFL continues to be illiquid and small buys and sells move the price, this only provides a chance to top up. IMHO.

Picked up a few more on Thursday @ 36.75, at this price with all the news it would be rude not too.

Stock being offered in the market at 36.25p, slight discount to the placing price, can't imagine it lasting long.

Directors and existing shareholders buying more in a placing @38p!!!!. That's good enough for me, just picked up a few more @36.25p. advfn show it as a sell, but it is my BUY.

This price is going to move up and down up until we get the finals in June. Hopefully no change in strategy and no surprises just boring figures showing an increase in footfall taking things in the right direction. BB, I agree any dips provide a chance to increase the holding. Selling out at £1 :-)

It certainly doesn't take much to move the price on this. It's been very quiet for a while now. We could do with one of the large holders or directors topping up again. I have some funds coming very soon, at least with the price dropping on small trades I'll be able to buy more than I expected :-)

We need to keep a close eye on any of the large holders or directors topping up, although having said that, usually by the time it's announced, it's too late and the price has already moved. When it moves, it moves very quickly. Probably best to make sure I have as many of these as I feel comfortable with before it happens. The current price looks to me to be securely underpinned by their current performance so downside risk is fairly low IMO. They may drift if there's a lack of interest so plenty of time to sell up if I need the funds. You need to be in it to win it ;-).
IMHO

last time this management was on board there was speculation of a bid when the price was around 150p so who knows?? I would only think this could be possible though when it is clear to any buyer, of the company turnaround and this they will need figures for, so we will need a few sets of results....unless they want to speculate, I'm sure there's a few Russian billionaires out there that would want it to be top of the league !

Very positive - this also has strong brand value imo - it could become a bid target.

I see also Richemont reported good figures for Christmas

'Meanwhile, Richemont, the Swiss group behind Cartier watches and Chloe handbags, reported better-than-forecast sales over the Christmas period.' From the FT
Looks like TFL are well placed to take part in the Luxury recovery, now all we need is those bankers to spend their fat bonuses :-)
