23/4/2009 12:04 | Hi all If you want to ask any questions then Ben Poynter at Investec or Peter Harkness (Chairman) are the best contacts I am reliably informed. Ben Poynter is currently in a meeting so I have left him my number to call back. | ashleighp
23/4/2009 10:38 | How many have contacted the company and received no response ? I was appalled enough by the shocking and embarrassing AGM that was held late last year and things have got even worse if that were possible !! I suggest as many as possible sign up for a shareholder action group (SHAG) You can use this website if you want to attract more interest and we can get the financial press interested too. Personally I think a group attending the company offices and not going home until we have had a few answers to basic questions will do the trick. The advisers are welcome to attend with us in order that we comply with any takeover code rules on what can be said to shareholders. Shareholders by the way are amazingly defined as the owners of the company ! We need to check what our employees are up to ... Has anyone telephoned or emailed our fellow shareholder and supposed independent non exec Mr Danson ? | davidosh
23/4/2009 08:52 | Old Boy Returns - I contacted FLP and got a reply a few times. Actually e-mailed again the other night but haven't had anything back yet. Although my holding isn't too big, I would be happy to get involved in something. | omlaysause
21/4/2009 22:59 | When the shares were first suspended a poster with the username "fragilelittlepetal" IIRC posted on here with allegations about what was going on (and inferring that he / she was in touch with other large shareholders) and asking shareholders with a decent number of shares to get in touch via e-mail. I e-mailed and did not receive a response. Did anyone else? I am not inclined to do nothing any longer. | old boy returns
21/4/2009 22:24 | 6p offer on the cards by the look of it ! What do you expect, Danson payed 50p for the right to do this. Needs his cash back ! | clond
21/4/2009 18:56 | I think we should all call e mail the company to get a response. I for one will e looking at the detail and e contacting the FSA should there be ANYTHING out of line. Agree with 8trader in this market the share would be 10 easy and the suspension does seem to be out of the norm. Any one else tried to contact them? | love it
21/4/2009 13:56 | If he brings his other businesses into the PLc along with cash to support the business and reconstitutes the share base can he actually be stopped? Suspect Harkness (Chairman) will attempt to distance himself from this and go non exec to ease the way through | redarrows
21/4/2009 11:54 | Rule 14 (which describes a reverse) and rule 41 (that discusses cancellation after a reverse) say nothing about suspending shares ahead of a reverse. I am not a lawyer but I think it is rule 40 that is the relevant rule. "Precautionary Suspension 40. The Exchange may suspend the trading of AIM securities where: ♦ trading in those securities is not being conducted in an orderly manner; ♦ it considers that an AIM company has failed to comply with these rules; ♦ the protection of investors so requires; or ♦ the integrity and reputation of the market has been or may be impaired by dealings in those securities." Pretty wooly really and lots of companies don't suspend shares on a "very early discussions" which was when they were first suspended. Early discussions aren't even an agreement. | warrhead
21/4/2009 09:09 | redarrows - better not be Danson out to shaft minority shareholders. He is a non-exec director and as such has legal and codal duties and disclosure obligations. | old boy returns
21/4/2009 08:39 | I suggest that we shareholders pull down our trousers and bend over. I think we are about to be shafted by a takeover at a knockdown panic price, with healthy sweeteners for management to approve the deal. Mark my words. | acquisitor
20/4/2009 22:46 | Told you all before - Dansons assets will do a reversal and its 5-6p unless 30% can kick it in to touch | redarrows
20/4/2009 21:52 | I'm well aware they are not under any obligation to say anything but ffs if it was me running the shop i would have issued some kind of statement by now even if to say talks are ongoing, it's a load of bolx to suspend them because the price was recovering well at the time and the whole penny market has surged since they suspended the shares, i really thing Tmn would have doubled in that time to around 8-10p, everything i hold or have traded recently has more or less double or trebled with the exception of the odd one. | 8trader
20/4/2009 16:20 | I have called but same old story they never return my calls. | valustar1
20/4/2009 14:21 | Any one up for calling them? | love it
20/4/2009 10:00 | 8Trader Under AIM Rule 14 the suspension will continue until an admission document is published for the entity as enlarged by the reverse takeover (or talks are ended or six months elapses when trading in the shares is cancelled under rule 41). Once the share price started to rise when a reverse takeover deal was in contemplation, under the AIM rules there was no alternative to an open ended suspension of trading by the Exchange. | old father time
20/4/2009 09:43 | 8Trader - whole thing is a complete disgrace. Management are being paid good salaries to run TMN for the benefit of its owners (shareholders) but ever since they took over IBG on the basis of vanishing TMN profits all they seem to have done is farted around assessing a lame duck approach from Tangent, then spent an age trying to put together an MBO and now an age on a 'reverse takeover appraoch' made at a time when the market was paralysed with fear and the share price was nonsense. | old boy returns
20/4/2009 07:36 | Looks like i was lied to via the phone then "announcement within 2 weeks" ! How long can this carry on for ? | 8trader
15/4/2009 00:07 | Danson agrees takeover!! .....alas it's The New Statesman | jeff h
10/4/2009 11:47 | Email reply from the Ceo, once again he's saying nothing ! Not sure what exactly they are trying to thrash out here. Shame they are suspended, with two large holders buying and most bombed out stocks recovering Tmn would have probably recovered in price to between 5 and 10p since it was suspended ! | 8trader
09/4/2009 10:31 | Scrooge, how do know they are burning cash? "TMN has implemented a programme of staff reduction and other cost containment, in order to ensure the Group ends the year profitable and cash generative." "The savings will have a minimum positive impact of at least £300k in the remainder of this financial year and are the equivalent of a £1.15m reduction in costs over a full year." RNS on 30th January | warrhead
07/4/2009 14:02 | Been on to the head office state RNS in next couple of weeks? Not off then as they would have to say straight away. Who knows fobbed off? | love it
07/4/2009 11:37 | I bought in the morning it got suspended. Would be nice to see a RNS saying talks are ongoing.... | pelleeds1980
07/4/2009 11:34 | Its been over a month sine they suspended - they are bust. Their market is deteriorating rapidly with the UK economy suffering, they are burning cash and the summer (traditionally a lean time) is round the corner. Every day they delay the deal they become weaker and I recon the negotiating parties know this. A pound to a penny says they will be very dead and buried by Chrstmas. | scr00ge
07/4/2009 00:20 | It's under offer not bust! Not happy though why oh why suspend it when under offer. Tried calling the company e mail and also called the broker no reply. Any one managed to speak to the company this is taking way to long. | love it |
