25/3/2021 21:28 | Yes, I'm 5% down on these. Not a major issue but also frustrating when you see gains elsewhere! Take a look at INRG at current price. Not a tip just for research. I hold it and am down modestly on that too, however, the price s good at the momoment. Caveat emptor etc. It's volatile though. | pinemartin9
25/3/2021 21:14 | I have held since nov 19 topping up in dec 20, still 4% down so I can understand the frustration, but with all the market turmoil I expect this to outperform eventually... ever the optimist | bogman1
25/3/2021 10:59 | I have held TRIG & JLEN for a while. ORIT and FSFL are more recent purchases. I like the high yield and low risk nature of these shares. Plus green energy is sector which is only going to become more important. They make up about 12% of my portfolio. | gateside
25/3/2021 09:36 | I am convinced we will do well. Also hold a lotta pharma, long term we are gonna need both these industries, politicians are gonna have to push green energy or we are all screwed after covid pharma has all the governments in their back pocket. | bogman1
25/3/2021 09:24 | Thanks very much, I hope we both do well. On a more trivial matter, I love the way there seems to be a serial down-voter on this thread, a similar trait to a few other threads here on ADVFN. I find it laughable how shallow people can take the time and effort to scan threads simply to hit the red thumbs down. Bless them, I hope they're happy with the life they have. | eaaxs06
25/3/2021 09:18 | Reckon this is a pretty good price so you won't be too far wrong. Just underperforming in relation to my purchase price :) | bogman1
25/3/2021 09:17 | Thanks for your reply bogmsan, I respect your decision and your reasonning makes good financial sense. I have dipped my toe in here and prepared to add if the opportunity arrives. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
25/3/2021 09:05 | Probably unwisely switched some from Greencoat yesterday to here ( at 122.5). It can be quite profitable bottom fishing post cash raise. Picked a couple of tranches up last week across at Greencoat for 125.0 and 125.7. I don't think sentiment is that bad on this sector ( Gateside), it was in recovery mode. Trig appears to be the outlier just now because of the issuance and this fall has taken me by surprise. | stewart64
25/3/2021 09:03 | I was recommended trig and jlen (underperformed) and like the other 3 Oct enel & iber. Diversification is everything so this is only 15% of my portfolio. Super long and green energy is the future no debate. Hold a little oil but retreating from it | bogman1
25/3/2021 07:55 | Can I just ask why you hold so many in the green/renewable/ener I'm looking to get in here, but only as a small part of my portfolio of Oils/Pharms/Telcos/M Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
24/3/2021 23:06 | Bogman.... Similar holdings to you.TRIG is my largest, also hold....JLEN ORIT FSFL & SEIT | gateside
24/3/2021 23:00 | What else do u hold gate, I have trig, jlen & octopus, with enel and iberdrola to give me the diversity in clean energy. The European sector seems to be preforming much better so expecting a catch up over here | bogman1
24/3/2021 18:10 | They raised the full amount they were hoping for, which is better than others in the renewables sector, so surprised at the mark down this afternoon. Can buy cheaper in the open market now. I didn't partake in the offer, as I already have enough TRIG and hold others in the sector - a sector which seems very out of favour. | gateside
24/3/2021 16:55 | Well another one below the issue, glad I didn’t go for it this time, may as well wait from now on with all of these. They have all gone too many times to the well it seems | nerja
23/3/2021 12:11 | They usually bank the oversubscription so you will probably get the full allocation. Generally it's a one way bet, didn't work out that way across at Greencoat last month...131 offer down to 124.6 and back to 130 now. But sentiment is up a fair bit these last few days so momentum is heading in the right direction. | stewart64
23/3/2021 09:32 | I changed mind and decided to apply for more than the 10% shares entitled to 20% more in one account and 100% more in a second. They got the money, just a matter of waiting to see what will be the result. | andyadvfn1
22/3/2021 16:40 | Held up much better than I had thought, never dipping below 123p. They should easily have raised 200m by tomorrow morning's close. Once the ceiling of around 125p is removed (by the offer ending) this might get back to around 128p fairly sharpish. Renewables appear back in vogue these last few days. | stewart64
15/3/2021 13:29 | This is one for the longer term. As fossil fuels are phased out this company will be well placed to take full advantage. Current share price movements are only a big deal for weak holders. The dividend is good and the expansion of the company via placings will provide a long term growth. | schofip
13/3/2021 09:40 | I've elected to take this offer up but I may too look to sell out when/if it next rises.. will see.. I do like the Divi on offer and this provides me with the exposure to renewables that my portfolio needs. | carpingtris
13/3/2021 09:35 | I’m sure the shareprice will recover somewhat but is is too predictable .... shareprice rises placement then drop .... ... why invest for the longer term? I’m in again now but I did sell 128-130 waiting for the next placement. | keith95
11/3/2021 18:27 | I'm in also | 1tommyt
11/3/2021 14:04 | The saving achieved via the offer compared to just buying an equivalent amount on the open market is about £10 for my very small holding. Never mind an extra 10%, I'll probably add 100% when the time is right. | thamestrader
11/3/2021 13:46 | I have enough already so have declined the offer. | redips2 |
